It would be theoretically possible to make effective kicks and punches - you use "addaction" and make a script where your unit kicks/punches.

So long as you stay away from doing an oil rig, I don't really care. I'm thinking of doing an oil rig. Why not do an airport control tower? And an open hangar that you can fit a plane in and drive it out of.

I have two words to say about the news that it is possible to edit animations. Jackie. Chan.

*really high number*) the way that you have to approach and plan your mattacks carefully, as well as the actual action. Attack at the wrong point and your squad will soon be wiped out. *even higher number*) the freedom. In each mission, it is theoretically possible to run all the way around the map.

It has to be the mision editor! The editor is the reason the game is almost impossible to get bored with - with most games, you complete the campaign and then, well, that's it! You go out and buy another game. With OPF, it's different. You can go on and on. I mean, just look at The Sims. It's the best-selling game of all time. The reason? You can keep on playing it and playing it. Just like OPF with the editor. Another thing is that it's so user friendly. You can dissect it and put in more music, scripts, campaigns, stuff like that. OPF simply RULES.

That's where I'll end it with 'To be continued'. I think I'll make a trilogy out of this mission. -

Black Ops mission on Nogova...there's an idea...okay, how's this: You have to go in to Petrovice, an enemy stronghold. You have to sneak in, blow up two Shilka's, and sneak out. But on the way to the extraction zone, you are compromised by the enemy (Maybe a patrol in a UAZ.) So you have to fight back, and then when you fight them off they send up a chopper to look for you. Then when you finally reach the Extraction point, you look through your binoculars and find that eastern troops are on a stakeout and the heli that would have pickde you up is abandoned, the crew held at gunpoint. And then - To Be Continued... -
I reckon that OPF is dropping in popularity at the moment, it's past it's prime time for now, but when OPF 2 comes out (it's obvious that there will be no more expansion packs, the next step is flashpoint v2.0) it will soar in popularity. The reason is that OPF gives you much more freedom that most games - the ability to run all around the map as opposed to a restricted area, the ability to get in vehicles etc, and the fact that is has the mission editor - it's almost impossible to get bored with it. (sorry if people have said this before, but I haven't bothered to read the whole topic.)

For a cutscene at the very beginning of a mission, (not an intro or outro) call your script "Init.sqs". That way it starts automatically, you won't see the player at the beginning, and you don't have to type in for it to execute the script. For Intro's and outros, make sure you type to execute the script in a units init field, not in a trigger.

Any ideas? Anyone? I'd prefer a missiont hat can be made without me recording any sounds with a mic, because I don't have a microphone. So... GIVE ME INSPIRATION!!!!!! please

Where do I look to find the PBO and config files for units from the original version of OPF? (e.g the jeep, ural...)

Help for a newbie editor please
Wadi replied to FlashPointFreak's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
To do briefings: there are loads and LOADS of tools for that at OFPEC. -
Now that I've got your attention, I think OPF needs some bigger boats. Not exactly destroyer sized or anything (although carriers would be nice) but just bigger. Like, about three or four times the size of the PBR. And possibly a submarine.
