For myself, I've only got a limited amount of disk space, so anything I download has to be multi-purpose. 9 times out of 10 British troops would be taking the field as part of a NATO force. I'll wait for the Falklands Mod to finish doing their thing.

TSR2= Tactical Strike, Reconnisance. It was going to be just as good, if not better than the F111. A fighter/interceptor variant was never even considered. All you have to do is look at the undercarriage. But because of cost overruns and politics it was shelved, and The RAF had to make do with Vulcans and ex-RN Buccaneers. Whatever turns you on, OFPMan, but I'm wondring why those particular projects too.

Thanks Red, I'll take a look.

How do you make Resistance objects available to wrpedit? Thanks in advance.

I can't see how they'd manage it though. Possibly arty hitting from above? Any news on whether this is actually true or not? I've been on BBC News all day and it hasn't mentioned it at all.<span id='postcolor'> Just playing catchup here. In the UK, there's been no reports of tanks lost, but having said that, its Scimitars which are operating with the Marines, not Challengers. Somebody may have already pointed that out, if so, disregard.

I have a strip 150m long, textured. there is a pathway LOD and a roadway LOD. three things it doesn't do: 1. conform to the landscape 2. support models as a roadway should (I believe) 3. despite being binarised, appear properly in wrpedit; texture problems. Help?

I didn't realise it, but 41.09 was seriously screwing up my computer; CFS2 froze, Falcon$ just plain wouldn't run, and with OFP, the display was just plain blurred. It's been like that for so long I thought that I was stuck with it. The 43.30 drivers available at the link above are a major improvement in all cases. I gat F4 back, CFS2 is stable again, and my OFP display is as sharp as a razor. Definitely worth a look.

What about snipers? On 3d: If you use an NVIDIA card, there's a cheaper option I've been trying out. Go to NVIDIA's site and download the free 3d drivers there. then build/scrounge a pair of anaglyphic specs (One red lens, and one blue). It doesn't need a monitor capable of 100+mhz refresh rate to work. A bit tiring on the eyes after a while, but performs quite nicely.

Anyways, that's what I do, you do what floats your boat, and we'll be happy anyway. <span id='postcolor'> All true. i'd add that if you needed to pick up a weapon from a dead body, you not only will have a different "zero" on the weapon, but I'd bet that unless it was a professional soldier you killed, he wouldn't have cleaned his rifle. Even in the regular army, if privates aren't forced to clean their weapons, they never will. Last I checked, most African militias (and even many armies) were composed of 14-17 year old boys and other assorted young punks with little formal training. I doubt that they'd even be able to figure out how to break a weapon down, let alone know what parts to clean.<span id='postcolor'> All true, but if we're talking about the kind of dispersion usually only seen by activating FADE, You may as well stick your head between your legs. Guess we'll have to wait and see. -

In a mission in which "Everything Goes According to Plan," that may be true. Them's nice. How the hell do you get the textures so crisp?

I must be doing something wrong because I've had no success here after several attempts.
-
That last is from MS train Simulator. The first two look interesting though.
-
But I can't figure it out without some kind of entry for each individual in the mission. Is there an easier way?

Only problem with messing with the weapon stats is that a play may need to use it some time. Best to make the cannon fodder cross-eyed. -
DOH! I should have realised what they were for! Many thanks.
