Yes, it's a setup. Be nice when it comes online though

Love the Grass, many thanks.

My dad was a sherman crewman. If you say "Sherman," there's no need to say "Wreck."

M577. At last!
-
Thanks for the reply. Do you know where I could get that info from? turning the runway a full 90 degrees would involve totally re-making that part of the world.

The textures could do with updating, but Very Good Work! At last, a C130 in which AI can take off and land!
-
Vulcans became operational in 1958 and began to be phased out in favour of the Tornado in 1984; I guess it's possible a few could see action in 1985.
-
This particular aircraft belonged to that famous WW2 Squadron "The Dam Nukers."
-
Nope, the Vulcan's a "Gate Guard." It's an ancient and a bit beta model by footmunch, not sure where it can be got now, though if you want it, send me an addy and I'll email it to you.

Check that the weapon isn't in its own subfolder too. that will prevent it from being available.

This is an index of pretty much all addons, and where they can be got: JohnnyLump's Militaria

Ahh. Bear in mind, Hawk is Polish. that's a detail he probably wouldn't know. Why not try contacting him? I believe this is only a beta.

Callsigns? did I miss something? Have you noticed the numbers on the side of the turret are randomised?

Nice pic too bad you used CS M4's STGN They're part of the high detail weapon pack, and Inquisitor made no secrets of their origin. What's your point? Why do you think I complained over that They are just ugly nothing more nothing less. But I don't wanna get in an argument over that. STGN Nothing to argue about. It's a matter of taste. You have your taste, I have good taste.

Okay, I doctored it. A bit.

Speedwise, I checked again over a fixed distance, in this case the Tonal International Airport and Drag Strip (Runway 1): As you can see, it took the Challenger considerably longer to complete the course. Aside from the MG and the bright textures, I think this is spot on. The texture colour could possibly be fixed simply by converting the properties to "Always in Shadow." Are they available, if so, where? The US crew can always be replaced with a "movein*" command.

The L7 is the centurion's 105mm gun. The Challenger 1 used the L11 120mm gun, the same weapon as mounted on the Chieftain. The Challenger 2 does use a new 120mm, also rifled.
-
When you're using Sabot, rifling is irrelevant, since spin can be given to the round by fins on the penetrator. It would however make a difference to the accuracy of the HESH rounds carried. I doubt the armour of the Challenger 1 is up to the standard of the latest Abrams models, but then, there is the Challenger 2.
-
I think the armour values are good as it is chobham. The gun needs upgrading as it takes three or more shots to kill a T72! Whats with the Callsign? The crew are not a problem but they should be MIB's! The armour should be at least as strong as an M1A1, but the Challenger should be a fair bit slower. It took an M1A1 over a stretch of road at full speed, the run lasted 45 seconds. The Challenger doing the same run took 47 seconds. perhaps it could be slower. As for the gun, it's as powerful as the 120mm on the M1A1, so no complaints there. When the British Army built the Challenger, they tried both weapons, and decided to stick with the L11, so I can't imagine there's a significant difference in performance.
