i know im doing something wrong but i just figure it out... for some reason when i place the road in V3 its there... but when i save the mission and convert it to a pbo and then load the island in the editor then the road is not there :S ok i found that the objects are there because i can see the IDs of the road but the textures are not showing up..

  5. wow man thank you so much i think you might have just saved me from going bold :P cheers
  6. Ok well after about a week i managed to get past the terrain setup and sat+mask part and i was all happy because i knew next is the object placement part... but this turned out to be about as hard as the rest... well for starters the object names are in czech (ohh the joy) and it seems that the max you can import it 12 objects at a time into V3 . so my question is this: any one know of a way to preview all the objects not in V3 or maybe some place with photos of the object for easier selection? thanks guys -V
  7. my 2 cents on this would be 1) try and redownload the file from the wiki 2) check for spelling errors
  8. Just wondering guys what do you use to generate your terrain? so far i tried the following: * Wilbur - Not very friendly for use in my opinion but it seems to be the only one capable to export *.png files for V3 * Terragen - very nice software, a lot of generation option but lacks and edit tools, and so needs to be exported into wilbur for editing (both of these been recommended by Opteryx in his VISITOR 3 QUICK TUTORIAL) * World Machine - another great generation software but it is not free and the the trail version is limited to 512x512.
