  1. @ VXR yeah found that website earlier, my bad stuck aim-9's up instead of stingers. (been doing too many aircraft! I wasn't suggesting to release it with just darkened ofp textures, from memory thank god it's not like the su-25 with 70 + textures. The main body of the oh-58 is about 12 textures in total, and given the very low poly count of the model it would cause no problems in arma. @ blink, no the laser des wasn't included, but I'll check that as an option. A solution for the 12 textures is to unwrap the model from scratch and create a new texture. That would raise the texturequality alot.
  2. I think there is no Aim9 version in real life, Stinger is the one that is possible on the Kiowa Warrior. And this would also be usefull for more information on the armament. Click here The textures do use a very big rework instead of only darkening them out in my opinion. Â

    Oxygen's UVEditor

    You have to unwrap the whole model in o2 itself. When everything is unwrapped to one plane view you can select it all and press UV editor. It should all show up as you have Unwrapped it. At the moment you just select the side of your model and press UV editor then in o2 the other side and press UV editor again?

  6. thats right. the Trabant is build of a metal construction. On top of that connstruction plastic panels (duroplast) are placed. So the underside, and construction rust. (interior metal construction also rust.

    Project: UK Forces

    Dutch forces use the plastic bottles on the antennas in Afghanistan. It is used for IFF and its a bottle beccause it is much easyier to replace the glowstick instead of taping on a new one every time.
  8. It looks ok, Could you tell me if you plan to make the car to look more used? I looks quite new to me and most of them are not like that or you must be a trabant collector  to make it very extreme and used you might want to add alot of rust and maybe a few holes in the floor lol!

    Instant viewdistance

    I did a small test with my arma profile document. viewDistance=15000; (shows up the same as 10000 but it does say 15000 in options.) viewDistance=40000; (shows up the same as 10000 ingame but it does show 40000 in options.) Looks like the viewdistance is limited to 10000, I think its limited in the engine itself.?
  12. not to speak of that most "community" made addons dont even reach the "supposedly" low VBS2 or even OFP level.. *sarcasm off* I'm already happy people try to make addons, low or high quality.. if someone is happy with what is created its ok.

  14. The Afrika vehicles are those textures done or are you planning to add much more damage and scratches to them? As it was normal in Afrika to have alot of paint chipped of and scratches because the sand all over the the vehicles.

Looking really good, you could make the texture 2048 × 2048 and just get the plasterwork parts on the new area and give that some variation. some missing plasterwork around the windows and wall edges, quite understandable for a empty building in a warzone. The building could also use some kicked up dust on the lowest part that hits the ground. Makes the building look more blend in with the ground.

  22. haha Lovely! Imagine doing that but then setting up a fieldbase and get that expanded with small bunkers and MG nests. I havent even said anything about setting up HESCO bunkers and walls.
  23. That sounds like a good idea, we already have a ammocrate for our FSC system as you can see in the FSC video on the RKSL website. I'm not sure if we will do those creates but it is something interesting to think about.
