  1. i think that was generally the point - let people post in here to keep the forums clear of 300 or so 'I want l33t delta forc3 - roxors' or something to that effect Yes, but at the same time lots of decent addon ideas drown amongst all these 'l33t delta forc3 - roxors' requests. (Not that my requests are any better)... Which addonmakers in their right mind would bother reading through this thread of 50+ pages??? I'm not an addonmaker, and even I am sick of this thread... At least when there were seperate threads, you could choose to ignore the ones that were a load of bollocks and get some ideas from those that were at least do-able within the gameengines restrictions. At least when you posted in seperate threads you would get some sort of feedback on whether the project was doable and if anyone was interrested in the idea. Also other people that also wished to request the same thing could post. That would in turn show that this was a sorely missed addition to the game. Just my 2 cents I read the thread, and see some nice idea somtimes, I just read everytime there is a new reply. People can request and post ideas they like but modmakers just make what they like otherwise it aint fun to make addons.

  3. Yes that is right, we have the Lynx in testing at the moment and its currently not textured.

    A Minigun on the front? I believe a sidemounted minigun facing towards the front is possible but a minigun on the nose isnt I think.

    Is there already the Normal map and Specular map added? Might try that as the specular might change the lightning on the model so the current spot are not there anymore.

The Lynx has a high priority status at the moment and we are doing the best we can to have the UV ready to get a texture on it but as some of you might know creating those UV sets take quite some time and are very boring. At the moment we are working on the Cessna to have that released ASAP. Expect to hear about it all very soon. Â The Cargo Script project also has a high priority, UNN is currently trying out ways of using it on the C130 and we also need to develop different pallets that can be dropped etc. next to this all the script needs to be tested to see it is optimal for MP.

  10. How have you setup the maps of your project? what directory?
  11. Can you tell us more about the textures? Format, size.. (should be 2×2-4×4-8×8-16×16 etc. it can also be 512×1024 for example) And if you tell us what error you see we might be able to help you.

    Start at the tutorials of Brsseb, you are able to find those via Google.
  13. That's right, You can better make a box and skin the opposit sides, bring the 2 sides close to each other and you have the closest thing to textured double sided faces.
  14. Try to have all your dll files in a dll folder for all tools. Like this: P:\Tools\all your tools in maps o2, visitor, etc. P:\DLL\all the dll files from the tools including Texview 2 etc. Set the firectory to the dll map in o2 and restart your computer and have another attempt.

Iraqi BMP2 Desert tan Iraqi BMP2 Camo More barriers The grafitti on the barrier says "no bush" I'm not sure its the whole text or I only have a part of the "no bush" The barriers will have - 5 blocks row (4 versions: yellow stripe, red, etc.) - 3 blocks row (") - 1 block (") - 1 block (red stripe with stop above, yellow/black line with stop above, plain concrete with stop and all the stripe versions with the grafitti) - 6 blocks Curve (also 4 versions) I might be able to find someone to create a shemagh head model, then we wont need the civil facetexture anymore.

    Are those insurgents with heads made from scratch? Or reskinned facetextures? About the weapons, I would stay at using a Ak47 and some other weapons of that type. M16's would be a bad idea as they do not show up with those weapons very often. Maybe some improvised weapons will be great... for example a small mortar launcher that they fire with their hands instead on the ground. (seen it in a insurgent movie of Afghanistan) I'll have some more progress of things tonight.

    Got a little more... Jersey barriers Concrete barrier texture example Hope to have more variations for the barriers soon, some arab texts etc. Quicky mapped it together with the basic concrete Will make some different looking concrete blocks so every block wont look the same.

  22. You can edit the mission file i believe and change their sides.
