I'm so disapointed about the fact you have to buy QG to enjoy 3DE. First because I think QG is not a "must have" as before Resistance was, then because I dont understand why QG is so essential... 30 models in QG that are not in Armed Assault. I'm surry but it did not worth the buy. Even if it's for using 3DE. -

Very good screens ! A very important question: Does custom addons (buildings, custom vegetation, bridges...) could be incorporated in the 3D editor (and optionaly, will it be very complicated to do ?) ? -

Best news for map maker since Visitor 3 is out. Effectively the worst for me was to have a tool very powerfull and with unlimited capabilities but very consuming of time (especially road net when you are using a real sat map). I am very exited ! I hope this wonderfull tool will be realased soon ! -
The development was stopped because of my exams... I must solve a lot of very HARD issues on that map... But considers it still in dev !

http://seamless.usgs.gov/ The best website from my point of view...

Do you discover it ? It is far from being a news ! http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....2;st=30

Use the setabsoluteheight.vis script (it's in Visitor 3).
-
Hello Do you know where I could find pics of all object in the game ? Without it, it's a real pitty to work with Visitor 3.

I name that map Kurdistan because I use satelite data from the zone called Kurdistan in all geographic books ! That's all. No political message, nothing behind that. My attitude wasn't aggresive, and you don't provide my entire PM. And in my personal opinion (because I know quite well Turkish problems) you turkish have a real complex of persecution. It's sad because a lot of people think that your country is really too imature to enter in the european union. To finish: In France it's totally illegal to said that the genocide in Armenia was not a genocide. You can go in trial when you said that. If you recognize publicly that in Armenia it was a genocide. I will change the name of my map. If you dont do that, I have NO REASON to change the name of my map. It will be Kurdistan, kurdistan, KURDISTAN, KURDISTAN !

Just some pics to show you the infinite capabilities of Visitor 3. Â Patrol in the highest mountains of Kurdistan (no clutters for the moment...): Â And now... A great reco fly using the wonderfull A-10 :

Don't worry I will continue my work on that project and I will not use an other name for my map. Kurdistan is the international and common name for that region. I'm sorry if it hurt the turkish sensibility, but we are an international comunity, and in my country (but also in GB, or USA) there are no links between the use of the Kurdistan and the support of PKK... The debate is close. Some pics soon (Not yet from the ground because it's Work in Progress).

I receive this message today... What do you think about that ?

Good aerial photos of varied terrain

I also have that problem before to discover the right way to do it. You have to take the top left corner of your zone. Keep those coordinate in mind. Then go: http://www.lexilogos.com/calcul_distances.htm You have to calcul the distance the other points with the same distance between them. (sorry for my ugly english...) When you have all those points in decimal just go in GMID and download it. If it dont work try to reduce the zoom... If it dont work, try and try again until you understand the method. But dont try to make it with just Google Earth... -

Help me... I'm becoming crazy. Or how to delete the MCO texture from my map ? Is it possible ?
