The whole concept with the KJK (Coastal Jegers) has been misunderstood: First of all, let me say: THE KJK ARE NOT SPECIAL FORCES The KJK are divided into three main forces: "Recce", "Regular" and "Light missile battery" (dunno what they are called, but you get the general idea) "Recce" are the most elite of the KJK and are probably as close to SF you can get. "Regular" are trained to the same standard as other infantry units in the military. "Light missile battery" are small units trained to operate the weapons aboard the Stridsbĺt 90 and MTB's aswell as roaming around the archipelago with portable hellfire-batteries and taking out ships. The problem with the KJK is they have been made to believe they are the Special Forces because they re getting most of the newest equipment. This is not very popular with the SF. So, my point: The KJK are NOT the "Norwegian SEALS". An overview: Norwegian units      Examples of other units that are equal MJK (marine jegers) =  Navy SEALS, SBS FSK (special jegers) =  US Green Berets, SAS, Swedish SSG KJK Regular       =  UK Royal Marines KJK Recce        =  US Marine Force Recon FJ (Para's)       =  British pathfinders,16th Air Assault Brig.

(We also have a version with "beanie" (?) hats) Anyways, I have completed a new addition: Removable rucksacks ala. FDF Mod... For now there is only a Recon pack like those used by Fallskjermjegerkommandoen (paras) and probably other units like NORSOF. I will be adding radio and other packs as we get the config split up a bit more into the different units.

New skins on jeeps... This time without the sterilized clean sides First, a patrol observes a Stridsbĺt 90 cruising the southern coast of Nogova. Two jeeps return to base after a two-day long patrol in the Nogovan desert.

As for now, I have the woodland and desert teaser units done, except for the textures needing overhauling, as Marsuitor said. The jeeps have their new "dirty" look (pics in next post down), so they are good to go. The Bell is awaiting new animations from our anim expert, WaffenDennis, and it needs a tiny bit of retexturing. Also, (Jahve), we need THE WEAPONS DONE! Other than that, nothing much more to do on the teaser pack, I should think... Tell me if I missed anything.

I don't believe SFP said we had to wait... Correct me if I'm wrong, Jahve?

Well, we might be adding HV-016 soldiers, which are the "special forces" of our heimevern. They train for securing infrastructure as well as the securing and escorting of key personell. They were the first part of the Heimervern ever to be mobilized 9/11, when they secured the NATO Joint Warfare Center on Jĺttĺ in Stavanger A little announcement: WaffenDennis has joined our team as animator! We all welcome him! GO DENNIS !!!

OK, here are two pics I made while messing around with the new FSK unit the other day: First off, a joint US-Norway SF patrol ends in tragedy as an enemy sniper round suddenly catches a US trooper in the head: Second, a Norwegian vehicle patrol comes under heavy enemy fire (sorry bout the slightly bad tracers, but it beats the OFP ones!): More soon!
