I found the problem, It's the new catalyst drivers. After reinstalling my video card I tried to play resistance and it finally worked! Then i updated to the new ATI drivers then BOOM! back to the cannot memory-map addons\res\o.pbo! So the solution is to reinstall your video card and dont update your drives :\

nm it's a intel 845 chipset
-
my motherboard is a intel 82801BA, I'm sure though.

ive look at all the options and none let me change the agp size. There is one option that changes it from pci/agp to agp/pci order.

ok this is what i see, when i did the crtl+alt+del Physical memory(k) Total:261664 available:122604 system cache:144380 is this the right one?
-
How can i find out how much of my phyical memory is aviable?
-
I found out something weird, If i were to delete the O.pbo file(which i did, then put it back) the game starts up, and if I play on the new island all the ground textures are white put all of the bulding textures are the still there(well most of them i guess). So it must be the the memory and not my video card i guess.
