Since there are several people with the same issue I created a issue reporting this bug in "Arma 2 Community Issue Tracker". People with the same problem should register at the tracker and vote on the issue.

178.13 drivers. I've PP deactivated by default. When I load the first map the screen is blurry. I call video options menu and change PP to low the blur disappears. Then I switch off PP and no blurry. Only when I start the game and load my first map. I thinks it's the same problem you have only the other way around. I use PP off, you use with a value. ---------- Post added at 08:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:43 PM ---------- I've done a couple of tests. When I start the game I've always blurry image. When I change any of these video options, (Texture Details, Video Memory, PP and 3D resolution) the video is reseted and blur disappears. Only to appear each time I start the game. This never happened before 1.02.

You're not alone. It happens with me. :(

AFAIK it helps people with SLI.

With the DVD version there is no limit. Only the digital has limited activations.

Maybe all of you could try what BoboCZ said. Replace the defecting files with the original ones from the dvd. And then try to patch again.

My Video settings: Texture Detail: Normal Video Memory: Default Anisotropic Filtering: Disabled Terrain Detail: Low Objects Detail: Low Shadow Detail: Normal Postprocess: Disabled Res: 1280x1024 Res3D: 1280x1024 If you look at my signature me rig is not much different from yours. I've the double and sometimes the triple fps that you report.

Are you all updating from German 1.01 (final) to 1.02?

You should consider also a upgrade to your graphicd card. Maybe a Hercules or a CGA? ;)

I'm referring to the 505 DVD version. I checked my DVD and installation.. I don't own the 505 digital version.

It's the same thing with 505 DVD version. I installed it offline. No need to activate securom. :)

505 version doesn't bring any pdf manual.

The same with me. This is great publicity. A small video in youtube... it makes me wonder about the future of publicity....

People who seems to complain more are Vista users, specially the quad owners. But there is no scientific prove. Maybe there are more Vista users than the others.

As far as I remember with ARMA were two demos. One MP and other SP. I don't remember which one was first.

Well ohara announced the possible lauching data here. But agree maybe it's time to create a sticky for demo.
