Hi I'm just getting back into editing missions and have a small question regarding the Guarded By trigger. In ARMA it seems OPFOR automatically knows when BLUEFOR is within the area of said trigger and automatically moves straight to it's position rather than searching the area as it did in OFP. Please correct me if I'm wrong. What I am needing is for the OPFOR to search randomly within a certain area, namely the trigger space. I do not want it to know where BLUEFOR is and move straight to their positon, rather hunt for them throughout the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys I was wondering if you could help me. I've just purchased the Gold Edition and I get a major technical problem. Every time I run the game, it'll run perfectly well for a random length of time and suddenly the system will freeze me out (The game locks out) Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 @ 1.66 GHz Memory: 2 GB Ram Operating System: Windows Vista 32 Bit Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS Sound Card: Conexant High Definition Audio Any help would be greatly appreciated. I like what I see... this is soo looking good. Now if only someone would finish the HALO mod... Good work guys... I can't wait to start making some missions for these units... I've still got a text doc on the 'drive full of ideas for MP games..

To be honest, the dropship doesn't really have to be perfect.. I mean you're not going to use it personally that much anyway in any missions that are made.. on accounts of Aliens not having much to bring you down with it may become a bit boring...

No problems... just call me a horder of OFP lore Just a thought.. rather than arsing about with having it move the turret via a command menu, prehaps you could intergrate it into the final APC/Dropship script (i.e. As part of the LOAD script have it retract, and UNLOAD script have it extend automatically (Saving your command menu becoming overrun with purely 'graphical' features) I'll return soon.. I'm sure I recall there was a motion tracker-esque script mentioned quite some time ago!

If you're stuck with regards to the Dropship/APC script, speak to AfrographX (He works with the Falklands Mod if I recall). He did a splendid chinook that could carry Landrovers, I'm sure he could point you in the right direction.

Sorry for yet another question.. if you've got your paws on the old dropship, did you also get the scripts to allow the APC to travel inside it's gut?

Are we going to see any of the afore mentioned stuff e.g. (i) Rotating rear turret (i.e. the way it folded into the back of the apc for buildings. (ii) Some sort of radar jammer or chaff launchers? Also after this, will there be a dropship to go hand in hand?
