    Thanks for the reply   Im getting this audigy 1 from a friend of mine for 30 USD and the audigy 2 OEM is 75USD. Besides, I have Logitech Z-340 (2.1) speakers. Is there a improvement (audigy 1 -> audigy 2)  in sound quality even using  2.1  speakers? Thx, Unax

    Hi Folks, I've searched the forum, but couldnt find a definitive answer: Does Audigy 1 have the same problems (crackling, etc) that affects SB Live! ? Thanks, Unax

    Hi Folks, as many of you I cant stand the crackling sound in OFP using SB Live!/WinXP and Im in the market for a new sound card. I can get both sound cards (Acoustic edge and audigy) for the same price. Im using Windows XP Professional. Whats the best for OFP ? Thanks in advance, Unax
