welcome to the club..... of people who can't even start the game

everytime i try to start it it pass the cd check.. i get a black screen then i get a windows saying that arma.exe ebcounter a problem and need to close my system amd x3 4600+ 3gig of ram GF 7950 with driver 11.65 SB live audigy Vista business edition and when going ib event viewer i get this message Faulting application arma.exe, version 1.4.0.5121, time stamp 0x45b244a0, faulting module arma.exe, version 1.4.0.5121, time stamp 0x45b244a0, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00410073, process id 0xb84, application start time 0x01c7523dd6284189.

what about people with the new XfI serie ?

i think it is since all the ones with problem have audigy... work fine on my onther system wich use the onboard sound card

Vista supports directx9 fine. I am using vista and have Audigy onboard sound. Works like a charm. Try run the game as administrator. i tried with no luck....i have also updated the OpenAl driver and still no go i tried on a second computer that have only an onboard sound card and the game start.....

that's an error for the company who made the game because i have no problem running any other games... i guess will have to wait for a patch

yes an audigy 2 ZS with latest creative lad drivers for Vista
