Let some of us play BF2 till ArmA comes out. If anything well have a slower learning curve...ie (easier targets) for ya'll when the chosen one arrives. Don't hate all BF playa's!

FYI... i did read the whole thing, i read your comments to the people who first questioned your 'authority'... that made me wonder more, who or what you think you are. Look for clanies if you want, ill let you be.

I don't want to flame... just take this with a grain of salt, try to understand where I am comming from. When you offer ranks, Promote yourself to Col., say you've been trained by military person's... yet you're to young to join makes me wonder if your on a delussional power trip. I could see yourself as an admin officer (since your doing the recruiting), while your 2 Military advisors could be the CO,XO of your respective clan. I thought you did come across a little smug when you first posted. Maybe next time you drop a thread, leave out ranks and such. Just offer them some decent servers, a population that wants to practice often, some kind of VOIP and some kind of enjoyable time. also... when you say you've been trained by military... That isn't much to back yourself up with. Unless you've EARNED the right to wear any one of your countires uniforms... IMO i dont think you have the given respect to utter those words. Just some thoughts.

I have to say the first image isn't that ........ attention grabbing for me? Yea i 'know' about the game and packaging wont affect me. But to those who are clueless to the ArmA concept, they might bypass the box all together. My idea for a box.....a full troop transport flying over the battlefield. They look like hardened troops, armed with powerful weapons they survey a column of tanks manuvering below them..... anyways it looks perfect in my head but heres the best i could edit from my own pics. Hey all, I've posted just a couple of times, but nothing in depth. When i saw the BF2 title I knew this is where i could have something useful to say. I'm a current BF2 player and some say i am decent, others could say i have WAY to much free times on my hands. Like everyone else here, I loved OFP, it was my first game i ever joined a server and played online. I currently update 2 differnet sites on ArmA updates, screen shots and other info. Nothing serious, just getting/keeping the word alive. I must say though BF2 and OFP/ArmA are two differnt games. And they should be treated accordingly. If any of you have seen or played BF2, it is a BEAUTIFUL looking game. But in itself thats not enough to capture everyones heart. I love the idea of 'going anywhere, doing anything'. Many of the people I associate with care only for graphics, games like ... Call of Duty 2, F.E.A.R, Half Life 2, PREY etc ..etc .. and thatys fine, they like fast paced games where if the go in with their guns blazing and die.. in 10 seconds they can try again. In my local area i do a bit of LAN gaming, and to be active you need to have a current game, well the battlefield series has been prevalent over the last 5 years. Thats why i've been so heavily addicted to this game. Deep in my heart I wait for the reunification of my beloved. I hope their are no exploits like BF2 where you get someone "dolphin diving"....

I wonder when some on the US magazines will do a decent article? I've yet to hear anything on gaming sites (i frequent) or Magazines i flip through. Granted i want them to make a quality game... it's a bit distrubing to be still waiting for 4 years.
