Reinstalling OFP and are there still CTI matches being played? ArmA fails to deliver CTI and I need my fix. Waiting on Doolittle to save us all from EVO hell. In mean time I was wondering if many games of CTI are being played?

so funny I redownloaded ArmA from metaboli and tried to patch it. hahah metaboli updated the game so I downloaded 1.08 patch for nothing.

Change USA Marine Corps Force with british or aussies It's a "humanitarian mission", not the World War III I have wondered why BIS use the US Army when most of the playerbase are from Europe. No offence Americans I'm sure it's to do with the US military contracts for VBS.

The ultimate war sim needs the biggest armies as opponents. No point having a under powered army against a western superpower. China or Russia are logical choices especially for balance.

Xeno I would just like to say plz do not abandon this mission. Its the best example of what ArmA should be like. Thankyou so much for it and I wait eagerly for the next version. My only gripe so far is the Laser Designation bug and the halo script deleting the parachute when you are 25 feet from ground causing death or servere injury.

Excellent Mission. The question memains why are people still playing evo? This mission is truly Evos's Successor. Still has bugs albiet very tolerable ones, nothing game changing at all. The potential for expansion with this format is infinite. As I said on page one, use 163.44 combined with maxmem and you will not crash. Works well with all games. (Bioshock and Crysis included).

Cheating is rampant in every game and cannot be stopped. The grim reality is cheating encourages game sales as people quit one game and move on to another. You can cry and complain to BIS all you like about cheating. They cannot stop it with such an open platform. I suggest you get into a serious squad/clan where the competitive players, who frown upon cheats, play. BIS are not at fault. You wanted an open platform so you have to work around the downsides. Public servers are going to be full of cheaters so semi closed gaming communities are the answer. They don't care if you can't kill shit as long as you follow the squad and do ya best. Priority is having fun.

I actually care for disabled people who are living at home. I have worked with a few housebound people who rely on their computers for everything from shopping to a social life. One lady told me she probably would have commited suicide if it wasn't for her online friends. Contrary to popular belief many disabled people neither have a great income or are expecting compensation and certainly will not be able to get a grant, for what is essentially a game controller. Sure some people have horrible accidents and have big payouts. Others do not and can never work again so obviously dishing out all that money is impossible. I wasn't insulting I was looking out for people. take it as you will.

I'm sure its a brilliant product. I hope you don't charge disabled people those prices. I want it myself but until the price lowers, forget it.

drop the price of Track IR to 50 Euros and i'll buy it. The current price is way way too steep for another game controller. I know they are milking the market as they have no competitors but really, that price, get out of here.

I got lowplants and durgs veg running sweet. Single play now plays like ofp these 2 mods running together makes the game a hell of alot more fun. I get that OFP experience after nearly one year of playing this game. For example cover actually provides cover as opposed to a funeral. Night missions are fantastic. thankyou to Durg and Kegeteys for giving this game a much needed improvement. I can't wait to see what the FDF boys have in store for us.

Any chance of an idiots guide to get this addon working with lowplants?

Hey Ventura I forgot to add all my game settings are maxed out. ArmA will obviously LAG (although only slightly) in single player with the VD up to 10000. Online this ain't an issue due to the limited VD set by servers/missions. Also steam keeps telling me my video drivers are outdated but I just click ok and continue with no problems. I'm staying with 163.44 beta for now. Too much stress before I found these drivers and everything works as it is written on the tin Had a 7 hour EVO session on SuicideSquad Server no sweat

I found that changing drivers cleared all issues with every game I played. The only annoyance is the fog now My system: Gforce 8800GTX, Q6600 oc'ed @ 3ghz, SB XFI, 2 gig ram, Abit IP35 Pro mobo. Operating System is XP home. When I built this machine and installed the latest drivers from the Nvidea website. Every Fooking game I played, crashed to desktop or locked the computer up. Pressing reset was the only way to remedy the problem. Till the release of 163.44 beta. I cannot begin to tell you the joy I felt as I got past my first hour of ArmA with no lock ups. I then tried Planetside and managed to get through a good 4 hour session with no CTD's (anyone who has played Planetside will tell ya that game is prolly the most buggiest game about). The only game that has crashed is BF2142 and that was only when I alt tabbed. Never crashed during game use. So 8800 users get the 163.44 beta drivers and forget about the rest. Until they release something more stable. Stayed at my mothers for a weekend and attempted to install ArmA on her AMD 6400, 4 gig ram, gforce8800 gts with vista 64. Nothing, it wouldn't even install. double clicked the installer and nothing. German version by metaboli. yes i have tried everything in troubleshooting.

Pre-Ordered the expansion from game and it was on my doorstep 8:30 this morning The single player is such an improvement. Done the first 3 Merc missions, I have to say, so far it's worth 12.99. As for Multiplayer I didn't notice any servers running the new islands. I have the Metaboli (German) download version of ArmA and installed 505 version of QG over the top with no trouble, at all.

Will it actually get released. I gave up on GAW for OFP about a year ago. First Strike is out on 28th sept for BF2142. Looks like its going to be a nice Star Wars mod First Strike
