LOVING this update guys, it makes it feel much more like a mod now, than an addon pack. I dont really understand the voice situation though! You are working on a voice pack? Or is it finished and ready for download somewhere? Thanks again! Watson

OK I am finding this beta patch really hard to install It says it cant find a file, i will upload a pic of what it looks like... One moment There Dont know what to do :S I have all the required addons :S

OK this is the first mission i have released to the ublic, I dearly hope u like it as I am quite fond of it myself, Its quite cinematic I think personally Its called Camp Attack and is the story of the air cavalry attacking a contingent of NVA who have captured a village Its jolly good fun and if it plays right is at a good pace sort of a skirmish building into a big battle! which is nice anyway I have only played it with ECP 1.085 as its the only way I play OFP so I am not sure what will happen without it othing much different I would expect Anyway the essential addons that are needed for the misison to run are *drumroll* SEB Nam Pack!!! *Massive Applause* THE NVA PACK!!!!! very useful for me got rid of lots of this moveindriver etc And lastly my fave vietnam island ever!!!!! Jungle Everon Erm yes it is the best actually because it doesnt lag and its solid Jungle Everon 1.2 Please tell me what you think of this mission, I know there are a few bugs like the heli's MAY crash into each other but I have tried very hard for this not to happen Also the men may stall for a little while after getting to the village but they shud get moving eventually ENJOY! EDIT: 4 seconds later I am the stupidest person in the world i for got to give u guys the mission WAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *ehrm* Mission

sorry to DP chaps and sorry for the dleay but I needed to get the topic up again so people can see there is some news. The aptly named Camp Attack 2 is now up for DL Not much added really, more fixes for things that went wrong in the first mission and its not a final release yet so some things are not quite finished There were clicky objective things if u get my meaning but I had to remove them as they were screwing up the briefing. Also choppers now come to pick up the soldiers as opposed to simply starting in them. Looks rather impressive As for the MGs tat the NVA have if the mission screws up, try it again it will work its just that sometimes the NVA AAAs make the choppers go haywire doesnt happen often though Anyway without furtherado let me present to you Camp Attack 2 (hey that rhymes ) http://www.freewebs.com/lolomfgwtf/camp%20attack%202.ebeden_jungle.pbo

OK they never did that with me :P I have actually just about updated the new camp attack I use a lot of templates that can be used many times so I just modifed an old one Just need to update briefing etc

no worries mate I have noted that bit when they hit the coast the chopper you are in does something odd but i assure you its nothing to do with the waypoints :P I will try giving them alternate flight paths Also when you clear the village there should be a message that pops up saying it is secure. Also I did notice the leader going the oppisite way from the enemey which was rather annoying so in the officers init shud i put allowfleeing=false ? I have started work on making the US forces flank the camp as opposed to running head on at it, but there are only like 3 NVA recon squads in that village so it is odd u faced large resistance, mabye the forces from the camp came to help :s Also I agree with the music length so I am gonna pad it out by having the choppers coming to pick the men up, that way by the time you reach the LZ the music will have ended

the G36 assault rifle has a fire selector on both sides right, so that would mean it can be used by tighties and lefties also some rifles eject the round into the air as opposed to the right or left eliminating the risk of getting hit by a casing

Vietnam is where I base all my missions cant wait for ArAs If they can do inland lakes they they shud be able to do inland rivers also which will make this thing great fun nipping along blasting at VC on the river's edge I want Unsung to play with this ;'(

well i would be happy with Battlefield Mod's reloading animations they are nice, some of the modding community's work is also very good -

I think that an addition to realism would be to have the same models of the muskets but instead have different sounds so say have 5 wepaons of the same models but with different sounds so it sounds a little more varied in battle This is because I find the musket noise gets a little dull after a while :P -

Im also agree with the idea of shaking as opposd to horrific inaccuracy asa it means those who play longer can build up a skill at fighting with the muskets as opposed to everyone having the same chance this means practice will pay off BTW I am turning 16 and i Wanna but a real steal firing musket does anyone have any UK links where I could get one? A spingfield would be best but a brown bess or anyt hing of that type would be nice Oh and also I am working on a Brown Bess musket if you want it for millita or something like that -

I want the gatling GUN! I very much hope its released soon also i enjoy making the units careless and marching staright at the enemy. The confederate cowards always fore first but the union line keeps on marching forward into the hail of lead and cannon shell. It looks great you just make them combat stance when they reach close and they naturally stand in their lines and fire at the very close targets BTW has anyone noticed the union stand closer together without veering off tham the confeds do No idea why also I notice that if i make a line of troops behind another line the second like always wanders round the side. I dunno if there is a way to stop this good work guys! -

man its great being an officer, blasting away at the confeds charging at my position. Or vice vers of course. A question on the campiagn. In the mission where we first attack the towh of ghettysburg and I have to find a general, I attacked the town and killed everyone but I couldnt find the general. Anyone know where he is :P BTW this mod is getting better and better. I love it, I really do. I didnt play it for a while as for me its a mod that means I cant really be bothered, but when I play it I cant stop for days -

I am almost positive now that sometimes the guns have fifferent strengths. Sometimes when I play as a Berdan Sharpshooter I can comftarbly talke out enemies at several hundered yards. Ad today I played defending a house. I literally fired 3 yards away from an enemy and he was wounded only! I Know it doesnt make sense how they would be different strengths sometimes but I also think the same can be said for accuraxy in that sometimes it is poorer. If anybody else has experienced this please reply -

I aint sure why but I put an addon in and I am sure the weapons became less accurate. I think it was MAAM that did it but I couldnt say. Has anyone else had this problem?
