I have a few questions about mod folders. 1) If an addon needs to be in the res/AddOns folder how does that work with mod folders. 2) When Ofp is first installed (GOTY) does it have any addons already? 3) Are mod folders worth it or is better to just keep on top of your addons by deleting non used or poo ones?

Thank You very much!! 1 question, the list says as of 1.85 - I have 1.96 so has their been any additions to the addons or were the updates for other things?

What were the addons that came with the goty edition then so that i keep them and dont delete them thinking they are old ones i dont use. The reason i am asking is i am getting into editing now and i want a 'clean' version of ofp so that i can control what addons i am using rather than getting half way through a mission and realising i have lost track of what addons i've used and then having to skip between the mission.sqm trying to find them!

I have just completed building my first mission in the editor and whilst i was checking over the files, i noticed that my mission uses icp_iraq addon. As far as i knew, i hadn't used anything other than original ofp units in the mission. Where is this file from and what units use it. Â I have gone through all the units on the map and they are all east or west - no iraq units. I only have a couple of BMP's and a shilka - they are all east. The only thing it might be is an object but how do i find out? If i remove the addon it wont load the mission so i cant see whats missing. There are no search returns for icp_iraq here or on OFPEC.

I've sorted it now. I un-PBO'd the addon found the class of the item, searched through the mission.sqm changed it to an east soldier, deleted the autoaddon entry etc and voila! It turns out the ICP_iraq addon changes the east machine gunner to a different one. Problem solved

Errr.......can anyone help me translate the icp page - its Russian It must be an object then 'cos I have no desert units on the map - does anyone know what objects are added with this addon?

I have added the ammo crate load out from the sticky thread on frequently asked questions. I cut and pasted it in to the mission file but i now get an error message but i cant see whats wrong? I've sorted it now but i dont know how. The only thing i did differently was adding the load out to the object in the editor rather than adding it to the mission.sqs! I wouldn't have thought it would have made much difference!!

I d/l the tomahawks from ofpnews but all there was in the file was 2 .pbo files - no missions, no text files - nothing. Is this right or have i been hoodwinked? Â I have tried to download it from ofpec but it d/l's at 954b/s so it will take 2 hours plus!!, CoC have removed the d/l and ofp.cz has a broken link!! -
Hi everyone, this is my first post. I've searched the forums and found how to open the gate using - GATE1 ANIMATE ["ARM",1] - in the gate.sqs file. Ive then set a trigger that triggers repeatedly when west present and in the activation field I have - [] EXEC "GATE.SQS". But nothing happens when I or the AI crosses the trigger! Please help me...
