    The Avon Lady's Elite Forces Mission Pack

    I keep getting an error message whilst playing Delta Sweep II. When I LAW the BMP I get the message ==> "Cannot load mission, missing addons: bas_mh47185" The BMP still explodes and burns (Nice Effect BTW). I d/l'd all the addons needed. I even d/l'd Jam 2 again just in case it was that but its still the same Am I the only one to get this? Any help is appreciated.

    I keep getting an error message saying ===> cannot load mission, missing addon BAS_Repairh.pbo The mission does still play though! Is this just a typo from another.pbo or is it a genuine .pbo that I'm missing? Cheers

    West Detection

    I've got a patrol script that when the patrol in the town detects west it calls in a bmp and some grunts - simple. But there are more than 1 town and if i attack town 1 it calls in its reinforcements but town 2 and 3 also call in their reinforcements. I want town 1 to call in its reinforcements and town 2 not to until i attack their town. I've tried synch the triggers with the player but it doesnt seem to work - am i doing it wrong or do i need to fix it another way?

    I played around with the CAS from the blackhawk addon but it lasts for so long it wipes everything out before the deltas get in there  I suppose an artillery script would do... *ponders* I will play around with it but I want there to be a decent fight at the end to signify that its the last objective. @norris - I have played it and I cant beat the final town  , but my OFp skills aint fantastic. Maybe a "you've found a resistance encampment, maybe it has some extra ammo" type scenario should occur just before you get there? ===EDIT=== I've decided on CoC artillery.  The mortars are quite inaccurate so they wont be too effective but on the other hand they may take out a few troops and a BMP if they are lucky!!

    My original post never asked for realism, it was just asking about the difficulty level But that aside, the first town only has 5 guys patrolling it so its not that hard and the other 1 is only slightly harder. My OFp skills are nowhere near as good as others and I was just wondering if ,when the mission gets released to the 'community', other people will find it too hard to finish or will they find it challenging? And with regards to the NVG comment, sanctuary said to make it night time and i meant should it be turning to night time so its dark when you reach the final objective or should i set it all in the dark?

    The objectives before hand are 3 increasingly better defended towns and this is the last one. Â The BMPs arrive slightly later as they are reinforcements. @ sanctuary - Would a daylight raid turning to night be better than a straight forward NVG mission? Â @ Ironsight - you mention a sniper but they haven't got one. Â Should I include one in the team? Â What would the other members of the squad be 'realistically'?

    Error Message with BAS aimpoint

    When I equip the M4A1 SOPMOD Aimpoint M203 I get the error message ; Cannot open object bas_weap\bas_aimpointsight.p3d and when I go to look through the weapon sight there is no sight picture. I can still fire the weapon. I have JAM2 and the 1.55 de/ra installed. Other aimpoint weapons work just this one? Any suggestions?

I have tried to add 3 sounds to my mission, one that plays when you call for the evac chopper, 1 that is the pilots reply to say he is on his way and the other is just a trigger event to say the checkpoint was cleared. I can see the evac sound file in the effects menu under anonymous and sounds and it plays okay, but the other two files are not in the lists. Also the text (from the stringtable) doesnt show when the evac sound is played. I have checked and checked against the answers here and OFPEc but I cant see what is wrong.     Right, the sounds all play now but the text from the stringtable isnt shown.     I got Audacity 1.2.1 today and i've been playing around with sound files for the first time to day but I have a problem.. I can get the sound to play in ofp so i know the description.ext is correct but it wont put the text in as well from the stringtable and also it is SO quiet!! Description.ext==> class CfgSounds { sounds[] = {evac}; class voicesample { name = "evac"; sound[] = {"evac.ogg", db+40, 1.0}; titles[] = { 0, $STRM_Voice }; }; }; class CfgRadio { sounds[] = { evac}; class radiosample { name = "evac"; sound[] = {"evac.ogg", db+40, 1.0}; title = $STRM_radiosample; }; }; }; I put it in both cos i wasnt sure which one it was, as you can see it is set to +40db but it doesnt deem to be any louder than when it is -40db!! The Stringtable.csv ==> LANGUAGE English Comment STRM_voice voice STRM_radiosample radiosample Can any one see why it wont print the text and any ideas on increasing the volume?
