When X-PLAY did a preview of DR ,they showed mostly concept vids. There still wasn't any acknowledgment that CM only owns the name. Yet they still acted like OFP was their baby....even the concept of non linear battles. PC GAMER does a Preview and they understand the whole story about who made OFP. They even complemented ARMA2 when comparing the landscapes with another sim ,KA-Blackshark. When it comes tv media like G4 / GTTV they are only going to say what CM has written down for them to say. But if you talk with the people involved like Adam sessler or Geoff Keighley, they might interject a little bit of the true backstory next time they do a pre/review.

I'm trying to get all my mech games running on my vista machine. Got Mechwarrior 3 running, but I really want mech mercs 2 titanium going. Means I'm off to dredge the net for work arounds. Kinda funny though, I bought GTA4 and I need space badly to install it, but mech games comes first.

The wanzer pack is a must have to...I'll try to find that to. Thanks Goth , I finally got the DL to work with a resume DLoader, on the filefront link. Took 4 separate tries to get it to work but now I'll be able to play it. You might wanna tell the guys at OFP info....so they can update their website a little. thx again

Any chance of a cut up version for us slow connection people? Maybe 90 mb and the rest in a separate DL. I still have tons of fun with yours, and other sci-fi mods. Sci-fi mods and WW2 are the only real reason I keep OFP on game machine any more. Hope to play this one soon. Thx

Cool ship colonel well! Any fans of Star Control here? Looks like the little brother of a -Yehat Terminator-, one of my favorite ships in that series of games. Can't wait to take a test flight http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=yehat+ship&gbv=1 My question is, just how big can we make ships for ARMA and still fly and shoot from them? The ships for the StarGate mod are massive and still fly, are they at the limit? I couldn't even pilot the Ori ship, but to watch it pass over me is an awe inspiring event.

Excellent work Hitcher, The alien Looks like an X-com mutton in armor, but only meaner The tanks look like they could come from a movie...better trademark their design. You might have a Spielberg or a Lucas stealing them soon. You've really come along way in your designs since flashpoint, can't wait to see whats next!

I can't wait until we start seeing WWII tanks with multi turrets and machine gun positions separate from the main gunner. Like the M3 GRANT, Kinda surprised no WWII armor made it to ARMA yet...But I'll give it time. I'm sure their on the way.

It would appear Ghost / ( GST) is back making addons. Just DL'd a Robotech jet for ARMA from him. Anyone wanting to improve on his past works can probably get ahold of him now.

Very nice aircraft,and the detailing is almost photo realistic. Even though the knobs and switches don't work I'd like to find a listed diagram of a mig-15 cockpit. Just to see what does what I'm still using ARMA befor the 1.11 patch and this plane handles itself very well in a dogfight. It was performing spinning dives and ground hugging all in the same move. I recommend using the the IRAN IRAQ border map, and set veiwdistance to max. And yes this mig works well against ground targets to...found out first hand when attempting a ground assault on the airfield. We got buzzed up just by canon fire alone. Need a few F-86'S now Hope an mig-17 is in the works, maybe a mig-17pm to. Great work!

This mod reminds me of an RTS game called SOA ( Soldiers Of Anarchy ) And I loved that game http://www.soldiers-of-anarchy.com/ The mix of people and weapons really flesh out the feel of an apocalyptic world. Hope some tribal skins could be made for the vanilla BIS vehicles. Maybe a way to recover some weapons and ammo from destroyed vehicles to? Thank you agamoth, and your mod team for this cool pack.

Yeah, think "Ghost" made the ka-26....that lil bugger got alot of use from my spec op resistance groups. It's a nice chopper, but I'd like to see both KA helos in OFP and ARMA with more refined textures.....and armed, even jerry rigged, if need be.

Not sure how they did it but, the (OFP) STAR GATE.....errr... BLUE GATE mod had the most convincing shotgun effect I've seen. Their gun had a spread pattern without the annoying multi tracer effect... All other shotguns feel like your firring a bullet hose.....not realistic. The ARMA SG mod might have the same gun, not sure. Sorry about your problem, it's beyond my scripting knowledge.

Anyone remember the vampire and undead pack from OFP? http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=7007 It had AI people tossing cars and jumping huge distances. Would those animations be possible in ARMA? It looks like some of the zombies in (LEFT 4 DEAD) are going to be doing just that. Can't wait to DL the modified zoms CERVANTES

Didn't Iron lore make the latest Warhammer 40k expansion? Â If so ,will this all turn into another "TROIKA" when it comes to patches? Â As for outright piracy , I'm against it. Â But I do like abandon ware ,which as far as I know isn't piracy. Â Try to find a copy of X-COM at your local gamestop....it ain't gona happen unfortunately. Copy protection , was BIS's OFP CP Â "FADE" ever broken? Â PC gamer even commented on it's non intrusive protection, wondering why companies still wanted to use starforce.
