Well as far as the scripts that I have been working on for this helo, my computer crashed hard and I lost all of my work. I am will to have to start from scratch with all of the scripts I was working on and modifying. I was only waiting for the new updated version of the UH1N to come out so I could add them and test them out on it. I will be getting back to work on them asap.

Good luck guys...can't wait to see the work you guys have done. I am still working on some scripts for it (i.e rapple, start up, fire, ect.) Good luck and hope to see it flying soon.

Prep H, The eng smoke script that is on the AH1W was from another aircraft, if I'm not mistaken, I'd have to talk to NZXShadows to make sure, but I beilieve thats where it came from. I don't see any harm in using it for the UH1N. It was a creation of the USMC Mod (NZXShadows mainly) when I was the mod team project leader. Just put credit to the script designer in your readme...the script author should be written at the top of the script.

I know everyone is supposed to read the forum rules before posting, but you know that everyone doesn't read them when they first join. The AAV model that was being developed was NZXShadows model..a very good one might I add. Correct me if I'm wrong, USMarine, but the original list that myself, NZXShadows, and Scorpio first came up with was the CH53E and CH53D, AH-1W, UH-1N, AAV7, CH-46E, USS Tarawa, and AV-8B. I'm not sure what else was added or taken from this list since I went on deployment...couldn't keep up with everything for the past eoght months...still trying to catch up on things.

Well actually Placebo I was on a military network while deployed and they veiw that website as a threat...go figure...but since I'm on my way back to the states today I'll download it from my house in Hawaii...WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Thanks anyway. It's been 8 months away from OFP...time to have some fun again.

I saw a two-page spread advertising OFP in an issue of PC Gamer a couple of months before it came out... It was then that I said "I MUST HAVE THIS GAME!" They also had the demo on their CD, dunno if it was the same month though.  Played the demo, loved it, immediately ordered version 1.0 and got it before it was released in the US (hell, 1.0 was *never* released in the US!) and have been playing it religiously ever since I found out about OFP when we were briefed on the VBS system for the USMC. I checked out the codemaster's website and saw the game. I almost didn't buy it until I saw it at a game store at the mall...I said F*ck it why not...the wife can deal with it.  The bad part is I've been dealing with it from the wife ever since  This game is one of the best combat sim's I have ever played and I buy almost every new combat sim that comes out. I have a total of 394 PC games and out of all of them I play OFP the most. It doesn't helps that I'm a Marine and I love the smell of napalm  and the thrill of battle
