    finally, we have people talking about this subject.. yep i was the one who posted the original thread about this quite recently.. it is a real pain when doing missions with APCs... arghh.... i wonder why BIS ain't fixing this... isn't it a serious problem? Â i really don't think it's too hardcoded into the engine... Â

    Hey people, I would like to find out if anyone can relate to this bug that is apparent across the different versions of OFP.. from v1.85 thru 1.94 tested on various systems with different OS & specs. [ Multi-Player Setup ] 1 x M113 with (Human) Driver, AI Gunner 1 x (Human) Group Leader with 7 x AI Men [ Scenario ] 1. (Human) Leader orders 7 x AI Men to mount into the cargo area of the M113. Note that the M113 is not in this infantry group. Doesn't make a difference if (Human) Group Leader is in M113 cargo. 2. (Human) Group Leader orders AI men (sitted in M113 cargo) to dismount. Â AI men DO NOT want to dismount until the M113 (Human) Driver dismounts himself first. Â This bug is causing a lot of problems for my multiplayer missions. Â It seems that this problem extends to all APC-class vehicles. Have you experienced this and does anyone have a workaround for this? Replies would be much appreciated, thanks ! Â
  5. Hi ppl, I would like to remove the black crosshair that show up even in Veteran mode, when a Player is in a Tank/Air config class addon. Apparently, this is a hard coded feature that shows the Player's position. I was told that it can be removed from the main resource but then the feature will be removed entirely in the game. Would appreciate if a subject-matter expert could show how this can be done. Thanks!!!

Hi, I couldn't help but noticed that the ADF MOD website has one screenshot of a customised Mission Editor interface... you can take a peep here http://adfmod.opflashpoint.org/gallery/editing01.jpg ... I would like to attempt it as well, can anyone show/guide how this was done?? Would appreciate it, thanks !!!

    eh, i have yet to meddle with resource.bin to date... Â i'll need more help on this please... also is the file that you mentioned in the FDF Mod that's 194MB in size? Can you post up just that file? You are probably referring to the BRONCO vehicle that I am working on... currently a bit slow on the flow but good overall progress... I'm busy with a few new missions at the moment...

    Yes I am aware that TheDarkStar was working on the BV206... I was tracking down on similar developments a few months back and contacted him. But somehow, he didn't really get back to me on that and he stopped sending any updates... I presumed the development was ceased and therefore, I had to embark the development work from scratch... as for scripts, I do have from what I think will be good references. Look out for updates !

  13. hi, can somebody tell me whether it is possible to limit the "class UserActions" in config.cpp such that only one of the crew can utilise this function? (say for example in the case of a vehicle addon, I only want the driver to be able to use this UserAction command). Any advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks !

    WW2 variant? Hmm.. never thought of that before but it sounds like a good idea... Â indeed there was a great conflict between British and Japanese in Singapore during WW2 ... and halfway through, the British ran back to Britain to fight Germany ! it was until after the two a-bombs dropped by US in Hiroshima and Nagasaki that the Japanese surrendered immediately...

    Yes, it is definitely within my consideration of making a Singapore island... the actual development may take us into parts instead (which is more feasible) since attempting to make it in a single map would probably overload/crash the system... the reason being even though Singapore is just a small island, we are ALL CITY... densely populated with tall buildings and people(multi-racial) everywhere... do you know that more than half of our limited greenery are artificially planted? (eg. any tree you see probably didn't grow from there... we just buy a young tree and plonk it into the soil).

    Thanks - Miles - for the AMX13-SM1 driver issue... problem noted... yeah, it's a Mini-Me version for now ... lolx ... SAF is always leveraging on technology as its cutting edge, therefore we have large investments in hi-tech systems/equipment for a professional armed forces. Hey, I'm an avid reader of Janes's Defense Weekly too... Yes the A4 Skyhawks are still in use in Singapore... I've tried Col. Klinks A4... it's nice ! ta !

    thanks for the reply Miles !!! these betas are in for an overhaul of fine tuning and adjustments... anyway, the AMX13-SM1 is INDEED a bit too small for a light tank... i haven't scale it properly yet (oops). as for the UltraOWS, hmm i'll check on the issue that you brought up soon... ta!

    *nods* yep the textures will be re-worked on indefinitely... i'm trying to get the overalls right first... so i didn't concentrate on the textures yet... particularly the Ultra OWS (lolx) ... infantry units are already in the development pipeline...

  24. Greetings, It came upon me that a 'Food Ration Status Check System would be interesting to see in OFP. For example, a soldier may need to replenish his water supply or his performance will degrade as time passes (eg. run slower, aiming affected etc). Similarly, food can be stocked as such supplies as well. Do you think it's possible to implement such a feature? Let the ideas flow !!!
