Honest guys, I just say no to addons. I don't wanna be a junkie when I grow up. I'm redownloading the 1.30 patch. I was reinstalling and it had an Error 10 and said I should redownload it. Fucking thing was corrupted I guess. That might have been the culprit in the first place. Sometimes I think this game of ours was too far ahead of its time.

Yeah i'll reinstall after this. This is the first time I've tried OFP MP so it hasn't ever worked, but it hasn't ever... like not worked either Yeah the only things I've added on were the patches. Unless you know that previous add-ons from previous installations reinstall(like say saved games or control configs that reinstall from the previous uninstall to your current installation). I might have had an add-on from my last installation before this one. But I assumed that wouldn't still be loitering aroud stinknig up the place. I think this is a general engine call to the config.cpp file. I think the game is coming looking for this WeaponHolder class entry under my CfgVehicles class in the file. I looked and it's right, under the CfgVehicle class, there is no WeaponHoldeer class in my config.cpp. Anyway, I'll reinstall to see what's what but I don't remember doing anything other than patching that would have changed my config.cpp.

Is there a way I can add this entry to my config.cpp file? I mean, that's just a big C++ program file. Somehow the code on mine doesn't have the correct text. Can I download a need config.cpp form anywhere?

Yeah Single Player works fine. I haven't downloaded anything else for OFP but the patches as far as I know. I have XP. THe Troubleshooting FAQ says: 9. Problem: Multiplayer / Network problems: Windows XP specific: The default port may be closed. Set the default port to 80 or 21. Look under Control Panel - Internet Options, and Network Connections. If you are using Internet Connection Sharing between computers, disable it. In Windows XP, just change the option in the network setup wizard to turn off the internet connection sharing Disable the firewall automatically installed with Windows XP. Go to Help & Support under your START button. Search for "firewall." Under Pick a Task, select Enable or Disable Internet Connection Firewall. Follow the instructions to disable. Under Network Connections - double click the icon shown - Under the General Tab, click Properties - under the Advanced Tab - uncheck the checkbox. I've disabled the XP firewall and the internet connection sharing but can't figure out the stuff about openning the ports.

>> No entry 'config.cpp/CfgVehicles.WeaponHolder' << Whenever I join a multiplayer server after about a minute this happens. I get dumped to desktop and this error message appears. My version matches the servers I try and play on 1.46 OFP (no Resistance). Is there some kind of vehicle pack I need to download? I get this on every server. I've checked the server's web pages to make sure they're not running anything fancy that I don't have.
