wasnt sure what section this would go under. I used col. klinks tool to binarise my addons folder but it is still the same file size(the command prompt executed and the addon folder appeared in the opt folder), should it be smaller? and do i need to do any thing else to the addons after binarizing so they will work?

I am trying to texture a cylinder in 02 but am having trouble. I hav 2 seperate textures one foth the top & bottom and one for around the middle, but it will only allow me to use one because it covers the intire cylinder. Would it work to maybe create a circle on top to put the top texture on?

NOOOOOOOOOOOO please dont lock the thread, it one of the best, and some new people just dont know. anyways I luv my coke machine sooo much I had to make it into a car . I agree with spencer, while all those things might look nice who want ofp to take up 5gb of space. I know the engine has been updated but all thats a little much update or no. -

I was reading that BAS thing at OFPEC but I couldnt get it to work with gizmo, but I found out that you just have to texture the whole thing to get the middle and then texture over the top and bottom. Thanks for the replys

I make a simple coke machine addon but Its not showing up in the game. It is giving me no error messages and my other custom addons work. Yes! finally figured it out. I had just copy pasted the config from my crate addon and did not change all of the "crates" to "coke". Though now I have another problem, me being unexperienced with o2 overestimated the size. not a problem I cant fix though thanks a bunch for all of you help Â

My addon is above the center line and I have made a crate from a tutorial and it does show up in my object list, but this one is not showing up at all for some reason. I tried searching through other classes but i couldnt find it. I checked the model in 02 and compared it to the crate that works but I can not find the problem.

How the hell do i make a .sqs file?

I have xp and had same problem,but its easy to solve. Go to control panel\folder options\file types, then just click new to add a new file type then type in sqs and your done. You can now save files as sqs file -
lol omg im about to scream with joy , Ive been trying forever to convert images to pac and paa until finally I just saved the stupid images as .gif files and wala, it works. yippee

I cant figure out how to convert textures. I downloaded the pan tool and the paa tool but when i put a texture into paa it gives me the error message "tga file is not 32bpp, was 24bpp" and the pan tool gives me this "floating point division by zero" oh and tex view give me a little black square in the top left corner, what am i doing wrong?

ok im very new at 02 modeling and I am following the tutorial from here. I have created my false directory and everything is working fine. I am doing the tutorial on how to make a crate, and ive mad the crate created the geometry lod and evey thing but I am having a problem texturing. I selected the default lod and I am in texture mode, i selected the face, turned on the solid thing so i can see that i am texturing the correct face, i right clicked loaded the texture, but when i press B to apply the texture it says no texture loaded. I dont know what else to do because i did every thing it said to do in the tutorial. Can any one help me please.

I was doing that but for some reason my false directory which it told me to make in the tutorial wouldnt work so i used the one in my C drive and it works now.

no I just loaded the texture and it didnt do anything to show that i loaded it ill upload a pic in a sec if you want

love your collection of units but im gunna have to nix the ecp cause its causing hell on my comp, cant have the large battles anymore
