No it's real he comes up red and when you hover over him it says: Soldier (W. Uniform) i saw this when I was first flying over in the hind like aculaud suggested and bingo there he is. to the SW of the forest in the south west of the map. by a junction with a track leading off. There is a URAL sitting there (empty) with a soviet sniper standing by and next to him the soldier (w. uniform). I killed him once and walked over and guess what.. he isn't just wearing american uniform he carries an M16 too with other U.S. standard kit. I know what your thinking, the stupid idiots just shot a west soldier but I swear he's East, he shoots at you and all. And when targetting him in choppers etc. he comes up Red. Very strange, anybody got any idea what he's there for? I'll check later and get the grid reference cos he don't move throughout the mission.

The Hind is down by a base, the one at the bottom of the mountain. there is a couple of soldiers hanging around but if you take the M113 with a gunner and they're not a problem. Use the fuel truck to fuel up the hind, then take to the skies If you put the rest of your team (exept the gunner) in the back you can shoot around the jeep a bit with the cannon to get all the passengers to get out then tell all your men to eject over the area. They finish the spetznatz off allowing you to land and pick up guba. It's quick and looks very good. BUT WATCH OUT FOR THAT TANK, IT DOES NOT STOP DURING THE CUTSCENE (which you can't skip) AND SO YOU CAN (as i have done) FINISH THE CUTSCENE, TURN AROUND AND FIND A TURRET IN YOUR FACE - PAINFUL!!!

This is one of the best missions in the game. As somebody said earlier grab a Hind from a base a few miles NW up the coast. It's in a base the two pilots are standing beside it theres 2 or 3 guys walking around the perimeter and 3 tank crew standing by a shilka, not a big problem at all. then you can just nick the hind and kick some serious butt!! But as usual watch out for those shilkas!

The best wayI found to get that damn scud is to get a law launcher at the start and go to the top of the big hill (watch out for Spetz Natz You might want to leave a couple of men up the side of the hill to let you know when the spetz natz are about to pay you a visit) then i used my binos to find the scud it's normally hidden behind some trees and wiped it out with a LAW. the worst bit is that as soon as you neutralize the scud a shilka starts emptying it's guns on you so you have to be pretty quick getting out of sight of the tanks
