Why not?, Ive only ever seen one at a time, and they were all silent, but I know they can cause sonic booms, depends how far into the atmosphere they make it. BTW on the topic of sonic booms, when I was a kid in Cuba and there were MiG-21's flying around, they were nearly always supersonic. You'd see them dart silently across the sky and half a minute later or so you'd hear the sound of a jet approaching...it'd get loud as hell and then die out after the MiG was long gone, I find it kind of weird now that I think about it since I know in most countries jets are limited to subsonic speeds over land, but then again I never heard the actual "boom" of one crossing the sound barrier, which in an island like Cuba makes sense, since the sea is never far. Then again I've never seen a house in Cuba with glass windows save for hotels.

Before his "campaign" he was, and my point is if he could have bought a nuke to use instead of a few jetliners, he would have

Another story from my first days playing OFP. I was playingthe "Flashpoint" mission (Y'know the one where you tell Kozlowski to check your pants in the chopper). Anyways the town was pretty much clear of russians by now and we were moving in...Being a complete noob I'm taking much care to stick right behind the squad leader, and he walks up right beside this soldier with his back to us near the fountain in town. My roomate, who was watching me play says "Hey isn't that a Russian?" pointing to the soldier with his back to us. I reply "Nah can't be, my leader's standing right beside him!" Just as I finish saying this the "mystery soldier" turns around and pumps my leader full of lead at practically point blank range. I hit the deck and start shooting at him wildly and the rest of the squad opens up on him and cuts him down . My roomate and I couldn't stop laughing for a few minutes

Lol don't worry no one's attacking.Probably just a training exercise. When I went to visit family in Miami a few years back I saw a bunch of Hueys in formation a couple of times. When I lived in Cuba I used to see MiG-21's flying around all the time (they only use those as trainers these days as far as I know), and here in Canada you see the odd F-18 once in a while, and the Snowbirds.

My first day playing Flashpoint: I had made it to the mission where you're on patrol in the Jeep "Shhh...did you see that? I thought I saw something moving in those trees". Anyways we were combing the forest and I saw someone running towards me, I was still too much of a noob to tell friend from enemy by the uniforms but I recognized the AK in his hands easily, so I fired a burst at him, heard a scream of pain and saw him fall to the floor covered in blood. This being my first encounter with the enemy I walked towards him to inspect my kill, and when I was about 30 meters away I realized that he was still holding the AK, and pointing it towards me. I had enough time to think "Oh Shit!" and the next thing to pass through my brain was his bullet .

I'm convinced that if he could try anything with nukes he would have. Does he really strike you as someone who gives two shits about what happens to Afghanistan? The only purpose behind his life and that of his followers is to kill the "Crusaders and Jews". No matter what the consequences to them. Remember, they believe that by diying for their cause they get a guaranteed ticket to paradise. The Sept 11 attacks were obviously a very well organized, financed and carried out attack, but it's pretty obvious that that was the limit of his capabilities. If he could have killed a few million Americans instead of a few thousand I can't see him holding back. I guess that shows Russian nukes can't be bought as easily as some people here would like to believe, or else a billionaire like him would surely have come accross some.

Eye-candy vs. Gameplay. OFP's graphics aren't the best either, but I've never been addicted to another game like I am to this one, so personally I'll take gameplay over eye-candy any time. If I want eye-candy, I'll just head down to the campus pub and check out the girls

Yep, one of the weirdest and most suspicious cases of "friendly fire" or "accidental attack" I've ever come across....here's a crewmember's account of the attack. Just goes to show how f*%ed war is....and why did Israel feel the need to shoot up the liferafts, even if they were enemies? *edit* to get to the account of the attack itself, click on the "continued on chapter 6" link on the bottom of the page

In short, I've only tried to include weapons which would be possible to include in an upgrade with minimum fuss). Note: If you select other, please specify below...<span id='postcolor'> AN-94 with Kobra sight. The Soviets need a wider selection of rifles, with better optics -

There were many cases of Hinds and Su-25's making it back to base after being hit by a stinger in Afghanistan. I remember reading about an su-25 that made it back after 2 missile hits
