Animations for getting in and out of vehicles

just an idea, but it would make the game look better if you actually saw people climbing into the vehicles, alot of animations though -
I was playing half life 2 the other day and it chanced upon my mind to make some units for operation flashpoint like the combine soldiers and cops and some of the vehicles, would anybody be interested in it? I cant model because i am lame, and i cant texture because i dont like the idea of creating a new drive on my computer and it seems difficult, but if i was to learn, how many people would be interested in the addons?

most games i get bored with after 2months, this i have had for 4 years and i am still not bored at all!

I was just thinking of a fictional commander and have his head wear slightly different to make him look different from the other combine, that is an elite combine (isnt it?)

thanks very much Mr Bean For the combine commander i am making, what kind of head shall i use, normal gas mask, normal head, head with radio etc?(it is using the same body with slightly higher armour values)

ok, three versions of the combine have been made now, cop, soldier and shotgun soldier, i may make a commander also for a leader, for the health script in gordon freeman, i dont understand how i will do it although i would relly like to, i think i can continue if i can just get started Pics soon

i was trying to use the search function but it wouldnt work so this will need to be quick, just a straight answer and the topic can be closed i think. Ok the problem is that ofp wont play the mission, it says no entry ".model" error , how can i fix this, the models are all in the .pbo file and they are correctly linked but it just wont work, any solution?

no, the m82 is a pistol and wat exactly did u change in the config so i can use it for future reference?

ok,here is the config of the unit that works: and the one that says "no entry ".model". I have tried all of the weapons on their own and they work, so i have no idea what it is

no, the addons are in the addon folder, i meant on editor, but i have tried changing weapons for the units, it works for one but not the other two oddly.

getting them to jump, arggh that could be difficult, here is a pic of gordon so far in his nice casual clothes ( ) Also when i fire from a combine soldier, it fires from the chest and not from the end of the gun, how can i change this?

i may be able to but i am working on gordon atm, but it will not include the ability to slice through people

I am trying to make a script that will create a health counter, has anybody got any help to start me off and what to display it as (i could use "hint" but that might limit programming of missions)

ok, i have downloaded a gordon freeman and i am updating it to try and make it look abit better and with some added armour values hopefully i can make it look better

what does binarize do then? BTW thanks fallchild! Will there be another release of this or is that it for along time ? And did u manage to find a place to host your mod?

for every soldier? ok thanks ok, its in .bin format, do i use binarizeit to decode it? ( I am new to using .bin files)

thank you, and another question, this mod overwrote the eecp mod, if i reorder the mods in the shortcut, will i be able to have the eecp soldiers and still keep the flashram mod?
