Is there a tool to batch convert PAA to TGA / TGA to PAA, where it would enable to convert mutiple textures in one pass? I'm working on a model which contains multiple textures, and would save me a lot of time if I could batch convert them instead of manually converting them all with texview. Thanks.

WOW! One word: Badass. Spent several hours today just putting random junk into the thing and trying to takeoff without them falling, out or whatever. In the future is it possible to add a vehicle or whatever to the cargo bay that will stick? Similar to how a soldier "snaps" into the seat, can you stick a vehicle in there as well. I got a few combinations of vehicles into the cargo bay, and was playing with weight and noticed the different variations affected how much lift the helicopter was able to produce. For example, if I put a heavy vehicle in, it couldn't even get off the ground. At any rate, I'm looking forward to any further releases.

You know, several years from now we'll be laughing at how bulky those things are. I mean..look at them..huge and inconvient to wear. Similar to VHS tapes to DVD, etc. I would imagine prices dropping and easier to produce for civilian use. I already have an IR filter for a camera, but still I would like to have something smaller to "see in the dark".

Hi, The problem is the alpha channels inside of the window texture. This is actually a common problem for many games, and not easily resolved. I suppose you'll have to bear with it, for now.

Haven't seen any screenshots of this yet, so here you go folks: http://ofp.eSimRacing.com/res_editor.JPG It's pretty cool, you have the option of viewing the world textures ...which gives you a good idea of where you are on the map. Other then that, I played a few missions and am soooooooo impressed with everything.. including the sounds ...AMAZING. Also, this campaign is the hardest I've ever endured..and makes you strategize...if you don't it's nearly impossible to just bust your way through missions.

I scripted Angelina to shoot hellfire missiles one time. Pretty much shot out of the stomach, was cool for screwing around off line..picking off infantry in groups.

A while ago, I saw some rough pictures of an aircraft carrier. Apparently it is apart of the "Gulf War" mod, and I was wondering if anyone has any updates on this object. For example, screenshots, or if the thing actually will hold additional objects on it...like landing your helo on it. Thanks,

Hmm...thanks.. I suppose that's a yes... Well, I know what it takes to apply textures to a model... I just happen to be a modeler myself so don't try and push that on me.

Excellent work, Konyak. One question for you. What kind of options do you have, as a 3rd party developer, to incorporate damage modeling. For example, when the plane crashes, or gets damaged, the model reflections the damage. One request, is to please "mess up" the model, so when it's finnaly taken out of commision, it is visually obvious. Thanks,

Hmmm... How do you use a microphone with OFP? Do you have to use a 3rd party program (roger wilco) or is there one built in? Anyone able to explain?

How old are you scorpio? At first you presented your self decently but every post you seem to drop down a level of maturity, and I'm sorry to say you're just plain have things folding up against you. At first your introduction was somewhat believable, until the actual items in question were shown. • You can't pull 7 high polygon models out of your ass like that -- they take time. • Even if you did create them, over a larger span of time, I would assume you would at least apply texture coordinates before moving onto the next project. • I must admit, the models presented are very nice...they are. I would assume if you could create such models, you would be somewhat of a "pro" at 3ds Max. I am a 2d/3d developer, and it does not seem rationale to me for a person of "your" modeling capabilities to even consider putting your work in gmax, unless their is a filter that could only be exported by gmax. But, you claim you modeled in 3ds Max, and viewed in gmax...That doesn't add up, you have to be nuts. I want to believe you, but so far it's not coming together. Hopefully, it all works out and they really are your models...and they'll be put into the game. Until then,

When you're scaling it up to viewing size, take note of the percentage it is going up. When scaling back down, just scale down the same percentage as you did when you brought it up. You can fit the viewport to view all objects, and probably avoid the whole scaling thing. Another thing can help you is selecting the object (h) and press F12 to get the coordinates. Or, measuring it with the tape helper.
