Hi there OFP fans ! I have a distant dedicated server (v1.96, with gameserver.net) that runs fine with 900 m view distance. We designed a bunch of (OFrP) COOP maps with some recquiring more than 900 meters view distance, for instance when planes and choppers are extensively used. Basically, I edited the "user.cfg" file and replaced the 900.000 m with a better 1800.000 m. Then logged onto the server, perform a #shutdown and start the mission. The issue is that the view distance looks exactly the same (900m) and the fact is that if I go back to the "user.cfg" file it shows 900 m again. It sounds like the user.cfg is auto-updated down to 900 meters  Did I miss something ? Any advices would greatly be appreciated  PS : when ArmA is supposed to be available ?? Â

81.87 are also a lot much better than 81.85 on my config. Anyone tried the latest 81.94 (WHQLed) so far ?

A master Piece ! Any other campain of this kind, I mean that good ? I guess not many. I still wish we could enjoy some of those missions in MP games and not as single player

Nice work FFUR Team. Thanx for your time and talent to improve OFP:R again. I am impressed again  I guess many of us are waiting for a full installer that would include the FFUR Handyman by Reven. Would be a great addition

Hi there - Great work from RHS, however when I launch OFP I get the following error message : Addon "RHS_SOBR_JAM" requires addon "RHS_SOBR_Models" Where may I download this missing pbo file ? Thanks for your help and advices

Okey, thanks for your feedback ... seems like nvidia forgot the OFP community  Is BIS gona release a 1.97 patch to fix this one or shall we also complain to nvidia ?  Other solution : switching to ATI as soon as X1800XT is available

YES, King Nothing, you achieve one of the very best unofficial campain so far. I probably wrote that down once already, but it's fine with me to repeat it since this is such a great piece of work. AGAIN, I wish we could play at least part of those missions in MULTIPLAYER COOP. Don't you have any plans to do so for 3 or 4 of your missions ?

20 slots private server ... only playing COOPs on a weekly basis at least. Also really waiting for ArmA : please BIS give us a date and more screenshots

Nice pix Parvus, Wolf and others  The great OFrP, JPtest Island, and DMA M202A1. Obviously no editing, except cropping down to 640. Team HFr mission start yesterday evening

I wish I could play it much further. I am also stuck at the "deal with the dealer" 2nd mission. First objective is complete but sounds like I can't get the second one done. I shot probably all rebels at "the meeting place" but nothing happens, no more rebels ... what am I suppose to do there ? Thanks ! Great campain anayway

Playing MP missions at least once a week with my great teamates. I guess I will only stop playing OFP the day ArmA will be on sell. Btw, hope to be able to buy ArmA on line

Maybe 4X AA does not help in your case. Anyway, the graphic configuration of OFP has so (too) many parameters to play with so that it is difficult to compare performances  This is the reason why I hope that ArmA will have a single and simple interface to setup such parameters Â

I won't complain about OFP v1.96 graphics. I play @ 1280x1024, Aniso4x and 2500m view distance and I find the overall display good enough, and very good when I play with improved islands and Mods such as FFxUR and others. Regarding ArmA, I mostly wait for a better net code (including Jip), more options but more simple and straightforward configuration (including server), more realistic (weapons, vehicles, sounds), and a better (hopefully almost automatic) management and downloads of addons ... Sounds like a wish list, please, BIS makes it comes (at least partially) true.

Hi there Where could I get the Island Replacement Pack that was used in v4 of FFUR ? Was marvellous until I uninstalled the v4 before installing v5 and unfortunately ALL islands were gone with the uninstall

Okey, I recovered all worlds by grabbing them in the dta folder ... OFP works fine again However, again, TBird could you please tell me where to get the replacement islands that you have been using in previous version of FFUR ? (they were gone with uninstall of FFUR4.5). Last question : how to make sure that SkyPack is installed ? What file, what version and which folder ? Thanx a bunch !!

Hooops huge issue here I uninstalled FFXUR v3.5 and 4.5 without problem and then installed v5 without troubles again (nice installer) Btw, no question regarding a putative SkyPack. Biggest issue is that I can't start OFP anymore since all worlds.wrp are all gone, probably with the uninstall Where may I recover those files ?? I particularly liked the replacement ones that v4.5 offered ... Well, I am stuck ... waiting for your replies
