  1. Ah, I knew it! Congratulations man, you being part of PR just increased my interest in that mod by about 300% - Sounds are such an important aspect of a game, most developers and yes, even mod-makers fail to realise that sometimes. And I can't wait for an update of the HiFi mod, to this day I still reach climax every time I'm in a firefight :D
  2. Nobody is pleading, demanding or forcing anyone to do anything, people are merely throwing out some suggestions for consideration by like-minded thinkers and perhaps some discussion - There's no need to stagnate all discussion by playing the 'gratefulness' card all the time :)
  3. That's already in ACE, check out the US Special Weapons box, there's the UMP45 with and without silencer and two versions of the MP5 without silencer - The A4 and A5 I believe.

Because when playing with friends or in a big squad / clan, you can't ask people to download 50 different addon packs for each mission you make - Which is why it would be awesome to have them included in ACE, as that's the De Facto addon everyone uses and it's always kept up to date among the players. Why is it such a taboo to dare ask for features around here, without someone getting almost offended by it? It's just a request, nothing else :)
  5. What about the awesome MP7 or the powerful Vector? I mean, they are almost obvious choices as they are both fairly new to the weapons-scene and they are great weapons.
  6. No need to be such a negative-nancy about it :P I'd love to see a lot more submachine guns in ACE, as the selection is quite sparse at the moment :)

  9. Have a question here, why are units close to empty vehicles placed automatically inside? It has ruined a lot of my missions, vehicle guards or 'ambient' vehicles so to speak, then all of a sudden they are filled with the soldiers around them. Is it possible to disable this?
  10. Oh yeah, wasn't questioning the delay, just the time - 236 minutes for me is a very long time, I didn't know I was supposed to down-convert it :) Thank you.
  11. Hey, I tried your Demo mission for the artillery and two things; 1) Is that minute count right, 236 minutes for another go :P ? 2) Typo, Bevore / Before :)
  12. They are supposed to be like that, have you ever been inside a helicopter and wearing the headset? All you hear is a sort of muffled whiny / whizzing sound. Of course it's not like that for all helicopters, depends how open they are but the headset muffles a lot of the sound plus the cockpit itself is insulated to keep out a great deal of the sound and with that combined you don't hear much inside the heli. Just a shame the audio doesn't change when you open up the doors etc.
  13. I had the exact same problem, I 'forgot' to activate CBA. Not sure whether it's required or not but it worked.

ACEX_PLA isn't set to skip and it's part of the update cycle every time, even been updated a few times but solder's necks are still very long http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=92504 That thread indicates it should have been fixed? Is something wrong with my updater then? Installed Version @ACEX_PLA 14 14
  20. I saw the PLA mod was updated recently to 'fix' the elongated necks, when is that going to be pushed through the Updater? I really want to use PLA for missions but those necks are too comical right now :P
  21. Why's the Six Updater starting my game every time it's done updating, that's rather inconvenient :P Started doing that a few days ago.
  22. I thought as much, it just started showing up ever since I applied the latest version / patch, released a few days ago. I do a lot of in-game recording, mostly at the beginning because it saves me time. Now I have to place units far away to let that message disappear before I can do any sort of recording, so it annoyed me immensely. Sorry if I came off rude but it had just annoyed me and "lame" was the only accurate description of the line in question I could find. GL4 is my baby, I would never say anything bad about the mod or the creator :) My apologies. :o
  23. Guessing you are from Germany, as that's the only country listed as being blocked :P Use a service like Hidemyass.com or similar to avoid it :)
  24. This is one of my first real movies that isn't just random footage of weapons and whatnot, I wanted to try out some silhouettes and some slow-paced filming / capturing, just for atmosphere.
