How to change the enemy precision?

@KeyCat: Indeed, I haven't seen it before. However I already tried it in the editor some time ago, I think it was in 1.09, and it seemed to have some effect.

    Startled birds

This is great, DM. Now you just need to make the direction change less instantaneous, and to reduce the density of the flock. Maybe you could also add a randomness in the sounds (I'm not sure if you already have), with sometimes a raven inside (they make a lot of noise). Keep it up, it's wonderful SPhoenix

Those Cool In-Game Animationstions in as well

...or you could just wait for me to drop in You need to put a trigger (F3). Condition is yours to choose: "true" to make it start right from the beginning, or Radio Alpha (or else) to make it start whenever you want, through the radio menu (0-0-X). In Activation, you need to put: SoldierName playMove "AnimName" where SoldierName is the name of the soldier as defined in the editor, and AnimName is one of those. I realize I'm not outstandingly clear, but if you know a smidgen about how the editor works, it should be fine

  7. I tried them and indeed, it's really great to have the islands from OFP. Retrospectively, Nogova is a lot better for fighting than Sahrani... And I'm talking landscape here. I tried the texture Grass_05, and it fits well. Only one thing: I assume the texture was made for a smaller scale... maybe those need reworking. The airports, as it has been pointed out, need runways; as for making them airports (with the automatic landing and such), if this is where you're having a problem, it's unnecessary imho. But all in all, I think you guys have fiercely achieved your goal with those maps; because gameplay-wise, it can't get any better. Great job.

    ArmA photography - Questions&Comments

Hi there Parvus! I've always wondered: what weather conditions do you use to get that lighting? Did you change the color settings of your GFX? Thanks! Great pics btw We really don't see enough CWR shots out there.

Ask a moderator about the forum and the rules

Is it really that important? I mean, I've posted screenshots too... All you have to do is resize it/lower the quality to fit the proper size. And you can get great quality with a good enough resolution for 100kb. You can always put a low-res on topic with a link to a high-res... And I sympathise with Balschoiw, just because I love his avatar. My 2 cents

The OWP in those pics only refer to the tall buildings. You will probably find them under the name P44.

    Armed Assault videos

Some of you may know me through the missions I make... I'm in the last stages of my last mission, a big Team vs Team battle with successive objectives to complete. I did a promotional video, thought I'd share it with you guys... Sorry for the poo-poo quality of Youtube. I have no idea how to get them right, the upload ruins it all.

  17. Hi everybody! I have searched the forum but couldn't find anything, so please forgive me if this has been asked before. I'm making a night mission where you have to sneak in a hotel to get a general. But I get spotted each and everytime I fire a shot successfully. Is there any way in hell to get the silenced weapons to really be silenced? Thanks, SPhoenix

    Silenced weapons

I know that, however the MP5SD is extremely silent (as opposed to the M4+QD which is quite loud). It just doesn't change a thing.

No, the problem is, the whole side knows my position and comes after me. Whatever skill I reduce, whichever disableAI I do, they'll still spot me (just shoot at me with various behaviors).

    MK19 Recoile

The grenades may be of the same caliber, they are separated for one good reason. If you try to shoot an Mk19 grenade with a M203, it'll work - however you'll break your shoulder.
  24. Hi everybody! Most of you don't know me, but I've been around quite a lot. I'm a member of the french team -=BAC=- and in that regard, I create missions for them to play. My creations so far are only Coops (for 3,5 and 24 players) and what we call Versus-Ops that are actually Human vs Human games with scenarios and plausible military objectives. As you can imagine they're all in french, but I very recently decided to give them to everybody playing ArmA. So there I start with a Coop for 5 players named: Call Of Duty Mission type: COOP up to 5 players. Objective: Retrieve a captured engineer. Language: English. Map: Sahrani. Time: Early morning. Weather: Foggy then clear(er). Side: BLUFOR. Play time: 30 to 45 minutes. Addons required: None. Arma version: 1.08 or above. Featuring norrin's amazing Revive script (AI-enabled) and my all-time favorite, Kronzky's Urban Patrol Script. This is a fairly simple coop, no massive scripting, you just follow the instructions! Designed for fun before anything else. Introduction: While the frontline broke up because of the SLA drew back their forces, some units managed to borrow deep inside SLA-controlled territory. But they're running low on supplies and they need repairs. A convoy heading to one of those bases got ambushed and only one got away with his life, only to be captured moments after. Taken to a camp inside enemy territory, the only thing between you and him is a mountain pass swarming with defensive positions and enemies... <span style='color:red'>Download</span> available on Filefront (no registering required). Size: 290 Kb Filefront mirror: Download Armaholic.com mirror: Download The Compound Mission type: COOP up to 24 players. Objective: Find information and destroy a weapons manufacture. Language: English. Map: Sahrani. Time: Early morning (Choice given). Weather: Clear skies. Side: BLUFOR. Play time: 2 to 3 hours. Addons required: None. Arma version: 1.08 or above. As before, it features norrin's Revive script (AI-disabled) and Kronsky's UPS. However, this one is a lot more towards enthusiastic coop players and therefore features heavy scripting and will require good teamwork and leadership. To make the whole thing a lot more alive, I have added many many voices (which accounts for the heavy mission file). You can watch how they're integrated in the mission with this video: I've released this mission a LONG time ago, but it was very bugged. I now cleared it of all the bugs (hopefully...) and improved the scripting. And I think it didn't have the revive script back then. Introduction: The war that once opposed the two nations of Sahrani is now over. Yet, what we thought to be a long peace may just be a pause between wars. Our most recent intel shows the enemy has finished building a compound of weapons manufacturing. Such a compound is deemed a risk for the South Sahrani country, and therefore it was decided to lead a preemptive strike on the compound... <span style='color:red'>Download</span> available on Filefront (no registering required). Size: 5.87Mb Filefront mirror: Download Armaholic.com mirror: Download South Sahrani Operations 1 Mission type: VS-OP up to 24 players. Objective: Destroy an AA system and its ammunition. Language: English. Map: Sahrani. Time: Evening to night. Weather: Clear skies. Side: BLUFOR & OPFOR. Play time: 20 minutes to 1 hour (Choice given). Addons required: None. Arma version: 1.08 or above. No famous script featured... only my own scripting. Be warned: the mission won't end. It clearly shows which side won but I can't get the mission to end. It's good enough for game scrims though. The admin just has to stop it manually. Introduction: Threats of terrorist attacks ruined the peaceful atmosphere of Sahrani. It also ruins, unfortunately, the invasion dreams of the SLA. They now need to reduce the reaction capabilities of the Southern forces.First, they need to regain control of the airspace. The SLA will try to improve their chances by destroying the Anti-Air system protecting Paraiso... <span style='color:red'>Download</span> available on Filefront (no registering required). Size: < 1Mb Filefront mirror: Download Armaholic mirror: Download South Sahrani Operations 2 Mission type: VS-OP up to 24 players. Objective: Capture Pesto from the hands of the RACS. Language: English. Map: Sahrani. Time: Afternoon. Weather: Terrible - pouring rain. Side: BLUFOR & OPFOR. Play time: 20 minutes to 1 hour (Choice given). Addons required: EditorUpdate102. Arma version: 1.08 or above. Yet again, here is my very own piece of scripting. It uses, however, Kegety's Spectating script. This mission is special to me because I spent a lot of time decorating Pesto to make it look like a fortress. Want a peek? (See appropriate post) Introduction: After attempting to sabotage the Southern capital's anti-air defense system, forces are getting ready to fight from each side of the border. There is no doubt a conflict will break out. But the SLA isn't ready to face the power of its enemy yet. Beforehand, they need to cut the RACS' head: get rid of the tacticians, all regrouped in the fortified base of Pesto... <span style='color:red'>Download</span> available on Filefront (no registering required).
