VSS Vintorez - silent, full auto and second only to the .50 cals for damage. Sight takes a bit of getting used to though.

You can still connect to regular 1.03 servers if you are using the beta. -
1. The AI get upset if you tell them to get in a vehicle and you take "their" position before they get in. Either get in the vehicle first and then tell them to board or wait until they have all boarded and then get in the back and move to driver/gunner etc. If you do end up with an AI standing by the vehicle refusing to get in tell him to move a short distance away and then order him to board. 2. I think I read somewhere you only have a limited number of artillery barrages. 3. The bug is with the icon, sometimes when someone is healed the icon stays red. 4. Disbanding a unit in the campaign causes the unit to leave your group, not disappear from the world. Tell them to disembark before disbanding. 5. Don't drive straight at the enemy as they are pretty damn good at shooting the driver of lightly armoured vehicles.

Copied from the community issue tracker: -
WARNING: Based on vague memories from Operation Flashpoint several years ago. Do not do this without confirmation from someone smarter. I don't think you can but if you know someone with a copy one solution might be. 1. Make a note of this registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2. 2. Install the game with friends key. 3. Change the registry entry in step 1 back to what it was. Can't stress enough not to do this without confirmation.

Have you tried in Steam right click on ARMA2>Properties>Local files> 'verify integrity of game cache'? -
The team bravo corpsman has 12 ammo slots. And a bandana.
-
This still seems to be the case unfortunately.

You need to find the MPMissionsCache folder and copy them to C:\ArmaII\MPMissions\.

Kelly's Heroes, RIP, SuicideSquad, Bier AIG. -
Seems to happen automatically now as long as you are in the same group.

I think the role of commander in CTI/Warfare missions is what you are looking for. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=73993

Domination and Evolution are both large-scale co-op missions from Arma1 against AI opponents (both can take several hours to complete). Evolution has a fairly bad reputation in regard to teamwork (though there were a few good servers) because you could recruit an AI squad and pretty much do your own thing. Domination generally has greater teamwork as most servers run versions without friendly AI and has specialised roles (engineer, medic, etc) Warfare is a CTI (capture the island) mission that is usually team vs team vs AI with a lot of RTS elements (build a base, recruit soldiers and vehicles and then trash the opposing team). Teamwork was usually fairly good, but dependent on having balanced sides of human players. Details of Arma1 versions of Evolution and Domination. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=55572 http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=62579 Hope I didn't come across as patronising with the old farts and young 'uns remarks.

It was possible in Arma1 in Domination and Evolution missions to create/join squads though I don't know if it is functioning yet in the Arma2 versions as I haven't tried. As for the general complaints about a lack of teamplay I think Arma2 is a victim of it's own success. I played Domination last night for several hours on a full server and it seemed that 90% of players are new to the series and do not understand the mechanics of the missions. Certainly I was the only one to bother answering questions. I think us old farts need to make more of an effort to school the young 'uns in the ways of Domination/Evolution/Warfare etc. Have patience, it will get better.

If Vista's User Account Control is on, switch it off.
