I have problem with my joystick too..I have Logitech Attack 3 and it recently started to act strangely. I play simulators a lot, especially IL-2 Sturmovik and in that game i have no problem with joystick at all. The problem in arma is that whatever i do, recalibrate, unplug and plug the joystick, it keeps leaning to right. It is impossible to fly any aircraft cause i have to stick left all the time to keep it steady. So, is this software related problem or hardware? My friend suggested that the problem is in my motherboard...? Thanks for help already

I just installed 1.14 and after that i had several crashes, before that, no problem. I havent changed my specs. I can play about 1 hour and then it smash back to desktop. Specs: Amd Athlon 3500+64x MsiK9nPlatinum MB 3Gigs 800mhz DDR2 Geforce7600gs top silent 512mhz Also i get lower fps than i got from 1.09 Don't really know is this memory related problem so be free to move this.

Slight..yeah. For me its much bigger than a slight drop. Even I added 2gigs of ram it still got lower fps. specs: Amd athlon 3500+dualcore MSI K9N Platinum motherboard Geforce 7600gs 512mhz top silent 3 gigs 800mhz DDRII, One Corsair 1gig kit and one Ocz 2gig kit Hope you BIS boys see that something is wrong.

What I would like to see in ArmAII is samekind of point/rank system like in Battlefield. Of course this sounds like utopia but this is my suggestion and dont take it personally. Evolution mp missions are good example what i seek but in larger scale. It would be more than nice to get new weapons when going up in ranks etc. Of course this kind of global ranking system would need a lot of resources and manpower, but personally it could bring something more to the mp. At least thats the only reason why i ever (quite seldom) play BF. In my vision there is one or more mp missions made by BIS that are "ranked". From other missions you wont get any "official" points. After every match all the points are saved in some database which is accesable to all to see. Maybe this kind of a system can be developed by group of ArmA community? kindly yours -SR-

I must disagree. Even in dense forests, fps is lower than in 1.09b. System specs: Amd athlon 3500+dualcore Msi k9n platinum mb geForce 7600gs top silent 512 3gigs 800mhz DDR2 and latest drivers to all. Long story short: all was fine till 1.11 Why this fps increase wont happen in my pc? I agree on this.

For me, as a "regular" player, who doesn't understand any of this technical stuff, 1.11 has not brought anything. I get less fps than in 1.09b so guess im going back to use it. Virtual memory usage may be smaller but at what cost..

Yeah, totally. In the music bisness BI would be an indie record label, producing marginal music with small budget. I gotta give my best to BIS, youre doing great work. QG was a bit disappointment, but i know that ArmAII won't be, no matter how similar the screens are with Arma1. Remember that you have large number of loyal gamers waiting whatever kind of game you publish. We buy it anyway.

Same here! After installing 1.09 beta i lost "royal flush" campaign. What could be reason for this? I use no addons.

Better sounds make a better gaming experience. With FDF_sounds it sounds almost real. I get chills on my spine every time chopper fly over me, it really sounds like it should be.

Ok, i didn't know that. But nevertheless FDF sounds are THE number one soundmod.

BIS, just hire Goeth, he has made the BEST sounds in arma (FDF sounds) If one man can do it, why not BIS? Bknight3, you got the point, i totally agree with you.

First of all i must apologise. This has not got much to do with 1.09 but i couldn't find any other place to write this so be free to move this wherever this belongs. I'm very frustrated about BIS policy towards us(me) players. If you're going to have a good time playing ArmA online, you got to watch forums like vulture hunting for corpses. I like Arma, i really do, as a matter of fact, it's maybe the best freaking game in decade. Just so sick of this waiting. Waiting BIS to repair these bugs that haunt you wherever you go in arma. I just want to play and have fun with friends, not to stalk in forums all day long to find what is the best performance and why i suddenly die while driving a motorcycle etc. But i have to do this. I don't want to act like a prick (like i do) but please BIS, respect the community and take some real action to improve the gaming experience. Im sure you have bigger problems but this is just my humble request. Youre doing a helluva good work but i feel that like QG was a little disappointment. It was like community mod that cost 32€ offering only few new missions and weapons already included in 1.08 update. Lets hope that after 1.09 final release i wont have to write again. I had similar problems as you do, with 7600 GS top silent 512, 1gig of RAM and 3500+athlon64X. I lowered AA to normal and AF to low with all other options high. Its a bit rough looking but at least got more fps. Also Kegetys lowplants addon give another 10fps more. Get more RAM, that's what i intend to do

Does someone have experience about using two geForce 7600 gs top silent 512 as SLI? I have one and im considering to buy another one to get more on graphics. I've heard some issues about playing ArmA with sli but suppose they can be fixed..? I have almost similar problems as you do and i still havent quite figure them out but here is something: I got about 10fps more by installing Lowplants addon http://www.kegetys.net/arma/ download it from here if u want and more ram would help for sure. Hope you'll get it fixed.

I have lost the joy of playing Arma..Even how low a adjust graphic settings, fps are super low. Real good slideshow. lush is not working, tried 1.5 hours. Should it bring out some console where to write FLUSH? I've tried every goddamn key in my keyboard, not working. I switched the aa off and it helped, when i swithced it back on, 5 minutes and swapping started again freezing all. All my other games like Bioshock, Bf2142 etc worked like a dream in full grapichs..why not arma? just tried also arma mark, results were expected. 10fps and less..not much. First score was 1111,something and second score was much less 948,879

My os is Xp, and the flush command did not work. I tried both shifts but nothing..

Yea i got the Queens Gambit, i jut dont wanna play like 800x600 resolution, it looks like hell, besides i have 19" widescreen monitor so the best resolution is 1440x900. How the flush command worked again? I better start digging my wallet for more ram...

first of all, my machine specifications amd athlon xp 3500+ 64x msi k9n SLI with Intel chipsets, 1gigabyte 800mhz ddr2, corsair heatspreader geforce 7600gs top silent 512mhz. not so new western digital IDE harddrive 200gigs so this suppose to be quite good computer? Well it is at least first half hour when i play arma, aftter that it starts to swap and use memory like hell. At beginning arma uses about 400megs, after some "warm up" it starts to use 700 and more and then the slideshow starts. Anyother game works like dream in full grapichs, no problemo. Is there any other option why it behaves like that or is it just the memory= So please help me to play this great game!!
