Just in case you forgot it: Did you enter the path of your xml into your player profile? As you know I also had problems but now everything is working correctly. I use www.funpic.de as webhoster.

It's been already told that the player will be in command of a panther.

But that makes no sense, as there are no British troops in the mod. Wouldn't it be better to take e.g. a Panther tank instead of the Pegasus as logo?

When I move the MG which is mounted on the M113 I also hardly hear any sound.

I will test it. M4 won't be used with your unit's, so there won't be a comparison. Just make the MP40 and other submachine guns at least 600m/s, like the M1 Carbine, which you say was in fact very poor. I'm looking forward for this. One other remark: The signs on the helmet of the W-SS Soldiers are mirror-inverted.

my results for MP5, M4, M9, Makarov MP5: 1-2 shots in torso to kill M4: 3 shots in torso to kill M9: 2 shots in torso to kill Makarov: 2-3 in the chest or 1-2 in the back to kill Different results compared to yours, that's funny. Your new configs are better. Only the weapons with less then 600m/s still underperform. It seems that BIS doesn't simulate the damage according to bullet-speeds correctly. That's why I think it should be necessary to raise the speed values above it's real life values. I found that 600m/s is the least acceptable value for the lowest performing weapon. It would be nice if you would raise the speed values for MP40, PPsH, STEN, Greese to approx. 650m/s. Or maybe you really try to reduce the protection of the vests if possible.

I don't know who to blame, as I'm not an expert. But can you explain me what makes the M9 stronger than the MP40? What values in the config are responsible?

It's not only the Carbine. Just try to kill someone with a MP40 from about 30m. It's unrealistic how many hits are needed. But this is an old discussion. You can modify the soldiers vests. Maybe this will help.

I don't think that this is a good idea. I would play CoD instead. The AI should have the same config as the player. I would only appreciate that the earlier mentioned weapons, which are unrealistically underpowered, would be more powerfull. Please revise them after the next patch and release of official tools.

Vilas, there are some issues with spelling in your weapon descriptions: > FG42 - not "Falsmirjagergewehr" but "Fallschirmjägergewehr" > STG - not "Schturm Gewehr" but "Sturmgewehr" > not "parahooters" but "paratroopers" > not "rfle" but "rifle" > you could name the German Grenade "Stielhandgranate" > the K98 Sniper is not named as a Sniper rifle and the picture shows only the K98 without optics > DP-27 - you have two different spellings of "Degtiariow Pulemiot"

Vilas there are nice little tools, with which you can pick a color on your screen and find out the correct color values in HEX and RGB. [Edit]: I just checked the Wehrmachtuniform. I don't see a difference to the color before. The uniform is too light green and the boots are still green. I know it's not easy to find a color that represents the real Wehrmacht color realistically. [update]: And after testing the above mentioned tools, it's not easier as well. So I just opened the .paa file in Photoshop and adjusted the Colorbalance so that it fits approx. to the M42 uniform, which was worn by Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS: http://www.geocities.com/efmshop/m42uni.htm With the following settings it's a darker grey-green: Colorbalance: R -9, G -28, B -22 Â (Midtones) Brightness: -16 I tested it in the Game and there the colors seem to bee a bit lighter, that's why I took a bit darker settings in Photoshop.

If I would be so egoistic I would keep quiet and make the changes for myself in the config, which worked very well, but I'm interested that the whole community has a very good working addon. The potential of your addon (later perhaps Mod) is great. But perhaps when more people come to you with the same problems, you might react on them. Â Where can I find those values? Beside this: Are you planning to make WW2 tank and other WW2 vehicle addons? Are you going to do new soldier moddels?

And I for myself have the impression you are ignoring what I'm writing (otherwise I wouldn't ask you the same all the time without getting a convincable answer). It's sensless you will keep your opinion with the support of "the_shadow". It seems that you don't care that other users like me and VictorTroska have a different opinion. Maybe we should start a survey who is how satisfied with the performance of the weapons. It's no matter of historical correctness, it's a bug. As there are not so many values in the config to set up. I still don't understand why the pistol M9 though only 350m/s makes more damage than a MP40 or PPsh. Which value is responsible for that? There is no need of an engineering academic degree to understand that you don't need 3-4 headshots to kill, at point blank range. It blows your head away. And concerning WW2 history: It's one of my special interests and my knowledge is far better than what is teached in schools.

And what about Thompson, MP40, STG, PPSH, STEN? Also very weak weapons?

I know that in reality the bullets of MP40 and the others which are working very poor with your addon/config have velocities of around 400m/s. I would prefer to keep these values in the game for historical accuracy but the game seems to have problems with these low speeds and doesn't simulate the damage realisticly. Now what's more important to you: Historically correct values in the config, or historically correct results in the game? If there will be a patch which corrects it, no problem than you could lower the speeds. Btw: The Carbine is not one of my favorites, these are MG42, K98, STG, PPsh. In my config now both have a speed of 700m/s (perhaps try a value of 600 or 650). You can make a difference to the Garand by reducing the accuracy of the M1. It seems that the speed value has the biggest influence for ingame results. Maybe you can make one config with higher speeds instead of higher accuracy/damage values (hard version) and the other config as you like. [Edit]: I tested the speed setting 600m/s with the easy config for Carbine, Thompson, MP40, STG, PPSH, STEN. It's OK. Mostly 1 hit in the head kills (MP40 - 2 hits) and 4-5 hits in the torso. I think this is the least acceptable.

Nice new weapons Vilas. [Deleted due to found solution, see below] Edit: Now I found the solution in the config-file. All weapons which where underpowered used ammo with an init-speed of 400 or 500. I changed the values to 700 and now 1 shot kills in the head and three shots in the torso (STG 2 shots). I tested it with both the hard and easy config file. Vilas would you mind to change the configs as mentioned above? Then it would be unnecessary to have two configs. The accuracy and damage values of the easy config would be enough.
