    Why the fascination with Evolution?

    Sometimes one can fluke out and find a great bunch of folks to work with in Evolution, but often you're stuck with a bunch of glory hounds (read that score padding types). At those times I practice my stealth and fire and movement skills against the AI and usually enjoy myself. I do wish that there was more randomness in Evolution, and I was very happy with the updated version (v3.0) as it adds re-enforcements and such to the battles, which I think is great and it really adds to the game. Most co-op missions I've played have no randomness, they are set piece battles with static enemies in the same place each time its played (hence my always wanting to play a mission on time only and move on). A lot of co-op mission designers don't put in decent weapons load outs (imagine a night attack by special ops without silenced weapons), and this is a problem. What I would really like is a true campaign feeling in the game, with a constantly changing battlefield, I admit I really enjoyed playing Hold a few times with good players, but I wish it had the AI's along to make the targets more interesting. Oh well. Sorry to ramble. Have fun folks! Enjoy this excellent game.

Hi folks; I've got the US version running 1.60 and I want to look at other peoples missions (its the best way I've found to learn how to make my own), and I can't open any missions in the editor. In fact; I've made my own missions, saved them and then tried to open them and couldn't. Is it because the US version doesn't use the same paths for files as the Euro version? Am I supposed to put/create a folder or something? Any help appreciated! Thanks Sgain/The_Serf

    Too difficult even on Easy Setting ?

    I've only got the demo but I've noticed that the AI can see through grass and sometimes hillsides (the BRDM often kills me behind hills even though its buttoned up and has no way of seeing me). The enemy AI also has amazing reflexes; I see a target, aim and shoot and it takes me about 3 seconds in zoom mode to get the aimpoint dead on target, usually the AI shoots from the hip and I'm dead. No aiming, no pausing to get a bead on target; just bang and my guy doing a death spin with his weapon up high. I think the AI's aren't affected by weapons accuracy either; heck they are using iron sights on those AK's and they are nailing prone guys behind cover with usually 1 or 2 rounds! I can only hope that the AI is fixed to be more realistic (pausing, aiming, and occassionally missing) soon...

    FAO BIS - FEATURE REQUEST

    What kind of zombies are they going to be? Shamblers? (like Dawn of the Dead), Runners? (like 28 days later), Brain Eaters (like Night of the Living Dead)? Wierd mutant Zombies (Like Resident Evil)? I like the idea of a zombie mod, but want to know what type they will be, or if module creators will have the ability to modify them. Also will they have virus capabilities (ie they infect players who become zombies themselves). Now that would be nasty, a co-op game turned mad blood fest as players are turned into zombies and attack their former teammates... Oh well I like the idea so put me down as -Signed
