Well, if thats your argument, then please have all the other games make theirs SP compatible, I hate wasting money on games that are only good for a 1 time only SP play!

Even tho the ArmA demo's may have felt a lil clumsy, I still enjoyed being able to at least get my feet wet. The 1st "new feature" I seen that sticks in my mind, was being able to swap vehicle positions...and not having to get out of it. We were able to test many new features. All players being able to hear a vehicles horn, was my fav. I myself would gladly test A3 at this point..and not complain of flaws! -
Actually, the "WF" is a "MFCTI" concept. It originated in OFP, by "at that time"..just another game player "modder" with an idea. But JCDBionicman will never have a clue!

I also had that issue, so I reverted to a previous save (before satelite hack in Rasman). Ater hacking the satelite this time, as I started heading to Feruz, I was shot dead but it respawned me at the weapon drop, and this time the prison was populated with enemy. I was hoping there would be a part 2 for this campaign...hint hint :) -
Where were those multiplayer modes that were created by the devs?

If this is what you refer to, they are in the multiplayer missions, if you have BAF. -
Maybe when the game is out, someone will make a video based on this thread. :581:

I confirm this rename of dsound.dll to dsound.dll_bak works for me. I was getting a "ArmA2 has stopped responding" immediately upon launching the game. -
It's a lil old, but maybe if you know the parameters, you can then learn overall gameplay.

MiniGunDad: Try the new Vsync options. Mine defaulted to "Adaptive-half refresh rate". I prefer "Adaptive", but you should try all options. -

It's not the swearing that gets to me, it's the abusive GD/MF/ repeated screams heard via Voip or Comms. If children hear it used in that manner, they will also abuse it.

I like your example, and I've experienced the situation over the past. We insist on headphones for just that reason. It's funny how abusive language will turn (me) and others off in a game. I do not have children, so I'm null to the example.

Fruity_Rudy, It's easier to walk, not run. If you keep a small distance between yourself and the Zeds, you can survive. Once I hear their moans and groans I know to be extra cautious as to which way they are heading. You can easily walk between 2 Zeds that are roughly 20m apart. I usually stay crouched when I'm that close to them. Now, Bandits are a different story, shoot them before they shoot you, period! -

Tho I've still been replaying a lot of campaignes and misiions since the 1.60 release, this mod has brought a lil more to this game, thanks. And thanks to Tonic for hosting the US1 & US2 servers. I've had connect issues with about 10 others I've tried...mostly really slow to load in, but his always connect me right in :) . -

People should read the basic guides listed at the DayZ Mod website forum, I found many useful hints there. Once I learn to watch for "key spots.. camping bandits", I should be able to go a long way. -
