I think mission designer should design with 1,5 of two eyes on realism..

I think we should realize, that a excessive body armour simulation was not planned for AA and that it would have been too complicated to include. While you are argueing about the "stopping" capabilities of different armour types and weapons it seems as if you forget that the initial question has already been answered and your little chat ( 5 guys having their little chat) is already off topic.....

I Agree with cam its definately not far away. You can imagine how fast the bullet is - its not a laser. Anybody who ever took part in a night-shooting with tracer bullets will say the same. A bullet isnt as fast as you think ... it has a ballistic bow - which i admit, differs from weapon to weapon. But what is interesting is the fact, that this soldier was attacked from so close range. I cant imagine the scenery down there but how can he stay infront of the vehicle without cover on a high traffic road like this? I mean also the fact there was no other soldier nearby is very critical from my point of view there was no othe soldier which was able to identify the car and repeat fire. That looks like a shooting gallery for me.... BTW: Allah u akhbar means " God is great"

In OFP it does matter where you hit the tanks and terrain has influence on how fast your progress is.

I havent looked in the age of the community yet ..but i assume its not the same as in Bf or that stuff not to start a general discussion about the fans of different games and its status in the top list ...but i think most of the people around here are grown up at least mentally dont know about the physical part But i think its everyones part to care about his life and limits... (btw everyone has his "hardcore" gaming phase at a specific time in live)

I think those requirements would be fine. On the average ... 3Ghz CPU and 1Gig Ram is a kind of standard for "medium" quality in AA. Iam playing "Soldner Secret Wars" ( plz dont discuss the game now ) and it has a kind of alpha version of a "dynamic destruction" with scripted destruction phases like 70 - 200 spots which can be destroyed at an building up to total destruction. And a fact is: Nobody can play this game without having 1 Gig of ram and 2000Mhz + machines ....Radeon 9800 or equal is also standard. And for this reason ( i got those requirements) i will upgrade pc in h1 2006. I think its worth it.
