I can destroy a house by shooting at it with the Abrams. But I cannot destroy it with FFARs or Hellfires...

nice Raven I especially like the Night Desert Jacket and I only like them by looking at the screens Had no time to test because I'm at work atm but will test 'em later. wondering if these are "standalone", I mean are these retextures or have you hijacked BIS Tools?
-
wipman as you may know we just need the modtools to make them standalone (if I'm wrong correct me). ye also looking forward for realistic marines gear 'n stuff

I agree with shadow there are questions which haven't answered and which are necessary to be answered I think! and shadow, I don't really think that BIS likes their flightmodel too, I think that they wanted to make a good one but noticed that they ran out of time. dunno though. there are some points we don't understand and it would be nice if someone of the developers would answer them. Activating Team, or unit switch in the editor
Sgt_Eversmann replied to Jblack's topic in ARMA - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
just make the units you want to play "playable" then switching to them via T...or if you are dead you have the option to continue playing as a playable soldier. Evers -
hopefully they are fixing it, not adding a new bug and hopefully we all will have more fps then!
-
I hope it for morphicon, otherwise I will send some insurgents to them... wait... oh, shouldn't mix up ArmA with Real-life
-
it's not the hardware, it's the games engine which "sucks" performancewise. ArmA is looking so nice but it kinda has big problems with textures and stuff... wish it would run like HLË›...no don't complain, I don't compare the 2 games because you can't...but HLË› graphics are very flexible and powerful. looks like BIS screwed sth up hopefully they can improve performance and all in patches. (and hopefully the morphiconhotfix will be available very fast )
-
agreed shadow, and hopefully they will improve the engine and stuff! although I cannot wait to get home from work and play ArmA again for me, it's even fun to have some simple firefights on rahmadi...

Multiplayer does not work with German Special Edit
Sgt_Eversmann replied to Fox86's topic in ARMA - MULTIPLAYER
why are you opening a thread then, this problem is known as you already said -
I think you will find the hotfix on armedassault.info, here in the forums and on the morphicon forums once it's out.

Mapfact Discussion Thread
Sgt_Eversmann replied to raedor's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
nice to hear will looking forward to everything from mapfact, think it's clear why -
infact the ah1z, mh6, ah6 and so on are just crappy configed...they feel like they their weight is 50kg or so... I still think the Blackhawk handles best, though it's a bit sensitive too... but I guess thats all config stuff, not the flight modell itself.

try updating your motherboard driver... I found some strange thing going on, it was the same with OFP. I have an Nforce 2 board, and I played ofp, suddenly my PC restarted completely! then I installed new Motherboard driver and that has never been appeared...until yesterday...with ArmA same shit, different day but I installed latest Nforce 2 Driver then and after that it all worked fine (not fps though lol). hopefully bis will patch the graphics soon! and also that morphicon has that hotfix for the german version asap.

hopefully that hotfix will come fast, otherwise I'm going to bomb morphicon I think the blackhawk handles best with a Joystick, MH 6 and AH 1Z are far too sensitive. I don't say flight handling is bad, but the ones from that Helos is bad configured... but thats all about configuring them so I think it's not hard to fix 'em
