Hi, i'm trying to make a spanish island map too month :D I need help to finish the addon and understand distribution of configs. To make easy the help i show the info here: I'm making Mallorca island, is a spanish island 100 Km * 100 Km (palma de mallorca) In visitor the island is 2048 * 2048 , base of 40 m * 40 m , 120 cells. textures are 512 * 512 pix The folders estructures are: P:\IBER\ Tag registered at OFPEC With Buldozer all is right with nice texturing. Use BinPBO to create addon in @IBER own addon folder into Arma2 folder. I'm using Arma2 vanilla, steam, updated. Thx, did it. About config files... I dont have any config in my island folder, what config i need ? The only config i have is the CA folder and is donwloaded from http://dev-heaven.net/projects/list_files/mikero-pbodll The config files is the most dificult point to learn to me i need some information about it.

I have a dude now OFP2 will be about 1970's wars or eeuu imperialism of 2010 ? I prefer 70's conflicts to play as comanche vs hokum with the OFP infantery

If you know economic system you can see that Russia need sells weapon equal than USA and if there is a war between China (+ assian or latinamerican alliance) and USA (+ OTAN) is very possible that Russia will be allie of China. It is possible. Actually China and Russia are making modern war simulations exercises. In asians country the weapons are ex-sovietics. And China has own weapons. Or Asia, or eastern europe can be good place to a futurist international war confrotation. And i think Russia need international market as USA and Europe and China and in this capitalism. I don't believe in a USA-Russia coalition if USA attack China or if continue making operations in the ex-sovietic's influence area.

I lost interest to OFP products. This story line and antiterrorist argument is a obvius poor idea. I think this cesk company is very influenced by USA Forces and they aren`t have originality now. Armed Assault same very borried. I think the game requires very graphics but it's few original to play. I suggest recreate the game with misions as Taiwan in the Comanche vs Hokum Enemy enganched. I think will continue playing OFPRes mods

There are very themes more original and exciting today: USA vs China for example Or USA Invasion forces vs Jungle guerrilla in Venezuela with europeans copters or OTAN vs Muslam community in some countries. or futurist OTAN vs Russia in East of europe There are many options to make this game more attractive. Actually european imperalism and russian imperialism are fighting to control east of europe, USA are making OTAN's bases arround the world and more arround China, the iberoamerican countries are changing foreign politicy and is possible a confrontation with USA. Well, we are living a complex world where is stupid to think the USA/Russia vs terrorist's story line can be able sostain in the future. (i don´t speak english , sorry)

it 's possible try the wwiionline.com game In this mass online game the players play at Squads, spawns are choosen and armies have a production or stock of weapons limited. We uses the teamspeak with chanels to squads. It's is possible Another option i think is the spawn system of "comanche vs hokun enemy enganched" : There are a mission of list to complete and you choose 1 to spawn at game and your option need 1 unit of inf or vehicle selection to disccount of your army. The spawn system of BF is an error to OFP2, it's no real.

ok, i had lost all interest of OFP2 if this is the USA strike against "terrorism" or another inventios to make war in this days. If OFP2 not have vietcong, africans guerrillas, koreans soldiers, soviets armys, olds copters, i think it will not my game. I wait a great game with "comanche vs hokum" gameplay system in a complete conflict between 2 powerfull armys. But i will not pay to play with USA or OTAN forces doing the world police, simply. I play WWIIOnline usually because it permet me play as a cooperative team at real time against another players (no IAs) into a total complet map. At OFP is some times more fun edit maps or play against IAs that play in a multiplayer game, because the map is too great to few players and only capture the flag is interesting to a teamplay. I think OFP2 can be as "comanche vs hokum": a real combat but with more IAs WWIIonline is a game without IAs, if you dont play in team you can think this game is worried.
