I don't know if it was posted before. If so sorry. I've found a little program that makes you able to controle your units by your own voice. And it's free. http://clans.gameclubcentral.com/shoot/ Shoot is a speech recognition program that translates your voice commands into arbitrary keystrokes. Perfect for commanding your AI buddies in your favorite flight simulator or FPS! Forget about having to memorize all those keyboard shortcuts, now you can just say what you want to happen. Although was created with games in mind it can be adapted to practically any program by creating an appropriate command profile. The download link for the OFP command profile: http://clans.gameclubcentral.com/shoot/profiles/flashpoint.xml Have fun!!! It works very good. Tested with FlashFXUR 4.5

Try to boot from your Windows XP cd. You can do this in your Bios (Set your primairy boot disk to your CDr player). Then when your computer starts up you'll have to hit a key to start from the XP Cd.( a black screen with text on top of your screen) Or you can do this : by pressing F8 ,with your XP cd is in the Cdr player when you start up your computer. And choose boot (or start) from CD. Wait untill you have a blue screen with some choices. Install Windows Xp, ... You will have to delete and then format the partition that has Xp on it, and then reinstall your Xp. To do so choose "install Windows Xp" first and then you choose delete and then format your partition and install XP again. Now get something to eat and drink cause the installation will take some time. The easy way to solve some problems get Hitman Pro http://www.hitmanpro.nl/ (sorry this link is in dutch) This program will kill alot of virus things and spyware. I hope it helps you

Just go to a shop and they can tell you what you can buy for your money. Point out to them what you want to do with your computer and if they're any good you'll go home happy. You'll learn more about a Motherboards, CPU's, memory, bus speed, HT,... when you start upgrading it yourself.

FlashFx Units Replacement pack 5.0!

I've fixed the crashing of the mod on my computer. I've installed : NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver v0.7 http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1024 Keeping my fingers crossed that it will not crash again. -
I hope I've got it fixed. Usually my OFP crashed after 15 or 20 minutes of playing. Now I've downloaded and installed this: NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver v0.7 from here : http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=955 and everything seems to be solved. I could play for 40 minutes and more without OFP crashing. I've had this problem since I've installed FLASHFXUR 3.5, now it should be solved. Never had any problem with my Soundblaster Live Platinum. I've had more problems with onboard audio and Hercules soundcards.

Hello, I've got the same problem on a pentium IV 2.8, 512 mb memory, FX5900XT. And I've got a Soundblaster Live Platinum. What could be the problem with the soundcard? Could it also cause the out off memory problem?

It's not all about artists that make a game look nice,if they could have their way it would be very realistic. I have a friend who works for Larian, he's a 3D artist. http://www.larian.com/ You have the engine, the time they can spend, ... And most important off all the minimum computer settings. They don't expect that everybody can afford the latest computer. So the main problem is the downward compatiblety, it has to run on an old computer to.

All you need is a squencer(free on the internet, see all the links above) some good samples ( free on the internet) and a good mouse (cause you'll be doing a lot of clicking if you don't have a midi keyboard) ******************************************BUY it!!! I can recommend Reason. You can allmost do everything with Reason (you can't record sounds). I've got an old site (not been updated for about 3 years) with some music on it, all done with Reason 1.0: http//users.telenet.be/the_moose

Nice effect Tomislav. Does this mean that the bullets will explode in the air? If so can you get hurt by those explosions? Is there a maximum range now for the bullets. Or will there be just some smoke in the air at a certain distance and do the bullets keep flying on? Please keep getting good idea's for OFP!!! If it wasn't for guys like you OFP would be already dead. p.s. OFP RULES -

Thx for the patch 4.0. Now the high sound (peeep) is back when something large explodes. But I'm still having the problem that the game freezes and all I can do is Alt+F4. I've got a: Pentium IV 2.8Ghz 800FSB 512 mb dual ram FX5900xt 128mb Soundblaster Live Platinum so I don't think the computer isn't the problem. -
I've got Cubuse SE, Reason 3.0 and Guitarport ( and a guitar off course). Add a mic and a midicontroller and your set to make any music you like. Maybe you could buy the magazine "Computer Music". There is a CDr included with free programs on it. Tips on making music and what you need to make music, can be found at this site: http://www.computermusic.co.uk/main.asp Hope this helps.
