Hmmmm does seem a bit odd for you to be releasing all these addons (which I'm sure are top quality) but mostly out of date with regards to the British Army. That's the point of PUKF, we're trying to release up to date current equipment, not weapons that were retired some 15 years ago, or were never taken into service. So: For someone who says they want to see British kit in game aren't you heading in the wrong direction? Not cracnky, just asking.

As an ex-soldier who has lost mates (very few thankfully) during conflict, I think Tankieboy's point is that this is a computer game...... Not really a way of paying tribute to the dead. And maybe a tad insulting to say it is, just a humble ex-serviceman's point of view so take it as you wish. OFP or ArmA I'll be chuffed when FLK pops their kit out, been perving over there screenshots for such a long time! Keep up the good work lads! you only require a church of england cathedral, and even that isnt a set rule - city-ship is granted by the monarch and has no fixed criteria, although obviously some are followed ... take durham for example (a very small population, yet is still considered a city due to its cathedral, castle etc) ... take nottingham for example, its cathedral is roman catholic, hence not fullfilling the CoE 'criteria' but fullfills the population criteria. its all a bit higgldy piggldy with regards to british cities, but yeah generally they're whats known as a cathedral city. Even better mate, look at Ely with a population probably smaller than that of the whole of Nogova, got a cathedral so they're a city! Good luck with the inf mate! Keep on doing what you're doing! 12th, got any pictures? As far as I can remember (from Bosnia etc) the Dutch just had normal landies. Not saying you're wrong (and sorry if I sound off VERY tired!! ) but it would be highly unlikely that they got them after the UK, as there wouldn't have been much time due of the EU directive that made the Wolf turbo charger illegal when on a newly purchased vehicle (hence the rushing in of vehicles circa 96/67 when my unit and others drove up in the old 110/90s and swapped them for the new Wolfs, cue lots of "cool, how fast does it go? ).

Like I said you will find that it chances are it's not a WIMIK but looks close o it, WIMIK is based on a Wolf Landrover chassis. If I remember correctly we are the only ones to actually have Wolf landies due to some nice EU ruling that came in just after the rovers were taken into service (hence them being rushed in and no replacements available). The Americans will have a custom kit on it built to their specifications. Combat and Survival are sometimes ok but more often than not they hype things up a bit and do have a tendancy to get facts wrong. It's aimed at Cadets, airsofters and people who like to think they know everything without actually having done it. I hope you mean single GPMG. The whole point of P UKF is to create realistic and correct addons rather than made up kit. Ok mate never heard it called that before. I'll get it written into the PAM.

Combat and survival?? Noooo thanks! And you don't execute the enemy!! (unless you're an insurgent). Added to that you don;t use CQC(?) weapons on a WIMIK!!!!! Actually I don't think a twin minimi would be that good, more weapons to clean, two guns to mess about with ammo during a re-load (that alone would make it not the ideal quick reaction weapon). And top be honest a bit Waltish. Take combat and survival with a pinch of salt pal. P.S. The USSF may use landies but not WIMIKS as all the WIMIK kit is local purchae, they do however have their own landies with bits and bobs on.

Not sure about the HMG but know that people jump in with GPMGs (I have a couple of times) not nice, but it's normal if your unit uses them. I think with the HMG it may get broken down into barrel and body, but not sure if it goes in the blokes weapon bundle or not. Ignore this. I missed the point! Sorry tankie

Not seen the Istec twin minimi mount in service at all. Only ever seen the single GPMG or L1 in use. Got any pictures? Again concur with Messiah on the Mk 19, it's not something I've ever come across. Didn't know FCLV (Panther) was coming into service, trials aren't till later this year and the vehicle isn't due into service till 2007. As far as I know only the Para minimi is currently on general issue. Sorry about the random order!

Just a quick one. Looked at the screen shots great work. Undortunately the stuff in the harbour doesn't look like Umm Qasr as I remember it, everything seems to spaced out!! Is that because of engine limitations?

Same here, although the majority of ours were welded so you couldn't fire them. Looking good mate!

Just begin a project and try to finish it. As soon as you're done start a new one. All the jobs you mentioned there are simple (to a certain level) if you just have enough practice. Sorry mate something smells.

How did you own an L96 then?

I had that if you mean that the heli was destroyed, had to open the rear doors.. made sense after I did it!!

That would be great! So far have only found a really old version of the pack... and looking at the lobos site there seems to be two versions. So far have only found it on one fan site... still looking! though!

Anyone know where I can get the HK pack from? Would really like to use it with this addon! But the link on the lobos site is dead! (or maybe I'm looking at the wrong site!). Really like the OPFOR pack!

HI don't know if anyone can help but..... recently updated windows Xp on my computer and now OFP seems to have bad! It starts but during the startup the BIS studios logo is scrambled (only the web address shows) and after on the main menu screen the the ground is completely dark, the sky is dark grey and the wrecked ural seems to have completely random textures in it! On opening up the laptop type part for selecting islands or missions etc there seems to be lots of diaganol black and white lines across the laptop. I was running lots of addons but can now only get the game to work with a couple!! I know this description might be quite hard to fathom but I don't know how to post the screen shot on here! Sorry if this topic already exists  but I'm not sure how to describe it other than above since I'm not overly techincally minded!!

Ah problem solved, did a restore on the system settings back before all of the updates!!! Comp doesn't recognize the fact now and it won't let me do any XP updates now until the next batch, but that's a small price to pay!! Cheers for the advice Avon (off to play those missions you released with deisel's A10!).

Thanks Avon, really should have thouht of looking there. Yeah, she just hits the downloads and never remembers which ones she got! It's the kind of thing that happens in our house so I'm used to the occasional thing(s) going wrong! So would installing the latest driver from intel over the one from the MS update site be a possible help?

Hi Avon lady, Thatnks for the reply! Just looked and on the date my girlfriend did a mass update in he log it shows that one of them was called Intel® 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller, added to that the icon the graphics controller next to the clock on the task bar has changed.
