I'm trying to upgrade Arma 2 to the latest version. Patch 1.11 upgrades 1.05 to 1.11. There is not 1.00 to 1.05 on the patch page... This is the only page that makes sense: http://www.armaholic.com/plug.php?e=faq&q=12 Google stuff: Which arma 2 patch do I download? Which patch do I download for Arma 2 retail?

Anyone got a fix for this?

Can you tell us what file this "config" is supposed to be, tell us where to put it, and edit the 1st post accordingly?

Nothing in those videos looks realistic to me.

He doesn't want to walk 2km with binocs on. He only wants to be able to move with the binocs on, because when you are hiding somewhere and you want to use binocs, often there is something in the way (mostly some bushes) and then you need to put the binocs down and walk 10 cm to the side, then put them back on to look thru them whether the bush is still obstructing your view - and because it is still obstructing your view, you need AGAIN put binocs down, AGAIN move 10 cm to the side, and AGAIN try to use binocs and hope that you finally see something. And i agree with him, this is often VERY annoying. Sure it depends on gameplay, someone doesn't need binocs at all, someone have the habit to use them while bravely standing in the middle of widespread free flat space like he's wanting to be shot, but we, recon soldiers, or snipers, are often using them while hiding in some bushes, etc. Agreed. We need to be able to move slowly while holding binocs. I was looking out a church window that has those annoying windows with small slits to look through, and often the road would be blocked by the window and you couldn't adjust your position.

How do I "activate" mods? I've added an editor mod to "My Documents\ArmA\Addons" but I don't get how to activate it. The mission editor just seems exactly the same.

Ahh, I thought it was just an addon. I'll try and find the GOTY edition somewhere.

I don't have Resistance, and most mods I find like FFUR 2007 etc need Resistance for some reason, but I only have Gold Edition which comes with Flashpoint and Red Hammer. Can someone post links to the best graphic upgrades and mods for those versions only?
