In real life the M1 series is a joke. Guzzles fuel like there is no tomorow and is maintaince intensive. It requires a supply line the size of a country to keep a couple of Abrams running during combat. But are we talking about OFP addons, or the real thing?

I agree. but many Muslims have pushed it too far, by for example publishing a book (Way of the Islam) that explains how one can properly kill a homosexual (trowing him from a building upside down). Or Islamic clerics in the Netherlands exclaiming that all homosexuals and Jews should be killed. Thats not freedom of speech, thats abusing your right to speak your mind. Â

Newton's law states that for every action, there is a reaction. That is exactly the case here. These Islamic terrorists cannot expect to get away with terrorising the Netherlands and its native inhabitants, without getting something in return. It was to be expected that extreme-right orientated Dutch people (ie. skinheads) were going to do something. I think that the murder of van Gogh made something in Dutch society go *snap*. Alot of impatience and agitation with muslim immigrants had been building up over time, and the murder on van Gogh was the droplet that made the bucket overflow. And please dont think its plain racism, thats absolutely not the case! One must look at the big picture to judge the situation. Many Dutch people are afraid that the threat of retaliation by muslims has destroyed the notion of free speech in the Netherlands. Most people are afraid of speaking out against anything remotely related to Islam, and thats pretty sad, in a country where freedom of speech is greatly valued. Another point is crime. Official figures show that by far, young Morocan immigrants are responsible for most crimes commited in the Netherlands. This creates fear. And think of this, 6 years ago, there were no gangs in Amsterdam. Now theres more then 17, and they are largely Morocan/Turkish. For alot of Dutch people, it has simply become too much. Threadfull? You mean hazardous? In what way was he hazardous, other than that he spoke out for what he believed in, nevermind how blunt he was?

I know that angle and direction matter very very much. And its not like the MiG-29 is immune to F16 attacks. If i attack a -29 with my F16 head on, my F16 will always come out on top. The issue lies with trailing after MiG-29's that are running away. They outrun the F16 too easily.

Excellent work so far, Sea Demon. This is the best MiG-29 ive seen so far in OFP. The only thing i want to comment on is the speed of the plane. I agree with this, the MiG is just too fast, right now its virtually impossible to kill the -29 with Footmunch's excellent F16, because it goes too fast for the Amraams. The much higher cruise speed of the -29 puts most other planes at a disctinct disadvantage in dogfights. Aside from that, keep up the good work! Especially the model is good, and the skins are great as well.

Heya, its a great island, i really like it. It has a much improved atmosphere, and i really like the proper highways. The only things i would like to see would a new large city, so that there are at least 2 large cities on the island, which would be more realistic. And maybe some other villages could be expanded to make them a litle bigger, at the moment it just does not look like the population of Nogova is big enough. And maybe, in the far, far far future... You could create a winter version of this island...? That would be great!

U know, for those C8's with Elcan sights, theres a better alternative then E&S's M4's. The Lowlands Warrior mod has already produced high quality C8's, SFW's, etc, with really nice Elcan sights. The only problem is that there are no silenced versions, but its not too hard to add a silencer and change the sound config.

Good work mate, I quite like this Land Rover, the best ive seen so far in-game. I have something to note though, aside from what's been mentioned before. When I drive around in it, especially on non-BIS maps, the weels shake uncontrolably. Some places its worse then others. Even when i get out the wheels keep on shaking, weird... Aside from that, good work!

What sky mod did you use in those pictures? I like the colours...

What about a Cold-War type tank battle? Modern tanks are soooo much cooler. And theres not that many WWII mods out there anyway with European forces. So...

Check Atwar as well, i d/loaded a 747 there. And get that fishing boat with the bird script. Its brilliant.

This idea looks great, and the campaign sounds like a good idea. Just theres one thing, please dont use american forces! If its going to be set in Europe, with the Russians invading, I think its best to use European forces, and not american forces. What Im suggesting is that you use several different European forces from countries such as Germany, France, The Netherlands, and Britain. They would be the most likely countries to deal with any war in Europe. You could use addons from these countries in the campaign, making it a ton more interesting, and it makes it a real 'European Campaign'. Personally, im a bit sick of always having to use US troops in games, and also considering recent happenings...
