How can I translate this from italian to english? "Sto sbavando dal momento in cui ho cominciato a testare questo addon... ho dovuto lanciare un salvagente al mio cane..." I'm using an internet translator but I'm not sure if it's giving me the right translation. Anyway the meaning it's something similar to: "WOW! Great work, Mr. Philcommando!!!"

Sad but true (stupid AI  )... Despite this, I do not find so problematic to place these kind of object (of course You'll need some good patience) and even if AI will not move over it, You can manually place some soldiers over/inside of the object to simulate units guarding an ammo depot or an hostage... Hmmm, I'm not sure to have explained it in the right english... sorry  -

I still can't understand the problem... You can create also a flat landscape with a hole and than You can put a large 3d object with the same texture of the landscape and with a 3d tunnell under, isn't it? Maybe (when I'll find some free-time) I will try something similar to recreate some tunnels under the forest of my island. -

I've made a mine and a cave addon and they are working quite well (just some problems with fire lods just 'cause I'm a noob with o2). There are some tunnels in the BAS_O.pbo file too. -
Great, you're a wise man! Â This Hind is getting better day after day!!! Â Â I think this is your best work, Vit! Ops, 1 thing... Am I a poor gunner or these new guns mounted over the Hind are a little bit weak?!

Here you are, Vit  Hind explosion bug Notice that in this screenshoot the explosion is displayed on the ground while the Hind is flying at 90 mt above it. I have noticed the same with almost all your planes. Just a bug on my computer ?! Â

Try to attack the hind with something like a RAH-66 AA (DKM MOD). Fire some stingers to the hind until it will explode in the air and you'll see the explosion (fire) displayed at the ground level instead of the right altitude (smoke effects and debris will be shown correctly). Anyway it's not a big problem, you will be rarely in the position to observe this bug and usually, you will fire at the hind just until its pilots will bail out... Hmm, let me read what I wrote... Well, I guess that now everybody knows my terrible english! Sorry, I will try to post some images, LOL!

Wow, very nice!!! The engine sounds so POWERFUL!!! Finally I can see the side door opening!!!!!!!!!! Just 2 questions: 1- is it possible to activate the gear only at slow speeds? 2- is it possible to fix the explosion bug? (the same with your SU-29 and others addons... the explosion appears on the ground instead of the correct altitude of the vehicle) Despite this, I think it's my favourite Mi-24

Â Great island, I love the swamp water effect but my favorite is the working light house one Ah, I've invited a Girl (long hair) to visit Snakeville and then the city mall... ...I've loaded PUMP (Aerosmith - 1989 Geffen Records) into my CD player ready to play "Love in an elevator" with her and then I've pressed 1st floor... BOOOOOOM! Like the great Ag_Smith say: "I can confirm the windmill-elevator bug". I'm going back to Farmland Island (I will try to invite the nurse this time) Â

Ok, I've tested it! First of all You're an artist, indeed! Â I really like the way you have used and placed all the addons. The problem it's the graphic engine of the game, which it's simply too much old to elaborate a huge number of 3D object like the one you've used here (even with my P4 3.2Ghz, Radeon 9800XT, 1Gb RAM Corsair TWIN X1024-3200XLPRO mounted on a ABIT IC7-MAX3 motherboard). I've found that the bushes you've used along the river (as I've used in Mojlina Swamps too) are a great "lag-adder" The "data3d/ker trs travy.p3d" object (a small medium-tall grass bush) is astonishing when used to create small grass fields, but it will steal a great % of your CPU resources. If you agree, we can collect some money to convince Mig to create some kind of objects to replace these ones. Another solution should be to keep our money and wait that intel releases a new powerful cpu... It's also probable that the BIS team will see your work and decide to give us the gift of a new powerful 3D engine for OFP... Â I think you have used WRPtool but maybe not the last release, so I've found the presence of the "road bug". In some places, when you walk along the roads, you'll see them vanishing under your feet (That's more easy to see driving a car and/or using a 3rd person view). You can easily resolve this bug: 1- make a backup-copy of your work 2- download the last patch for WRPtool 3- select all the roads placed on your island 4- use the "Edit/Align All Obj. to Ground" function. I hope this will help you. OK, now I will go back to play on your great island! (with a low distance of view of course!) Â -
Great addon! The Mi-24 is absolutely my favourite but, why nobody adds some working doors on it (like those on the BAS blackhawks)? (Ok, they are not so useful but... it could be nice, no?)

WOW! Nice textures!!!!!!!! Great work Reinhard!!!! You have spent a long time placing manually all those objects, isn't it? About lag... I've not already tested your island (I'll do it tomorrow of course!) but I will tell you something, I hope it will be somehow useful: working on my Snakeisland, I found that the main problem, trying to create realistic villages, it's the amount of objects causing lag. Expecially a large number of bushes/trees placed in a small range will cause lag problems even on a ninja PC (like in Snakeisland-Mojlina Swamps). The only true (and easy) solution is to reduce the number of the objects but... that's a sad solution, isn't it? All the work done to create something nice will be trash. So If you are still working on this island, try to optimize (aaaargh... why my translator do not work this evening???!!!) the number of the objects before it's too late!!! Maybe "The Great" Mig will help you creating some good addons like very long bushes to use near the roads instead of 10.000 short bushes... and maybe using "a 2 colour alpha on the grass and bushes" will help too!!!. Creating "the terrian with hills/buildings that obsure the really long views where lots of alphas would be lined up", can be helpfull but just if you will not fly over the island (remember to test your island with planes... it will give you a better idea about its lag factor). Despite all this bla, bla, bla... be sure that many people like me will really apreciate your work! Â (Even with a bit of lag! Â Â ) -
As the "helicopter fan" that I am, I can only say... WOW!!! The rotor dust effect is the BEST I ever seen in OFP!

That's just the ONLY way to use addons in WRPtool!  But it doesent works anyway  Doh! No "HQ Operations Center" in Ruchabka Base... P.S.: Even as "experimental model", this is a very nice addon!!!

If I try to put your addon on my island... 1st- I can't see the object 2nd- All the doors do not work Please, let me know if you are going to do something about this, 'cause I will be very happy to place your addon near Ruchabka Base (Snakeisland)

Hi guys,* I would like to show you my little work with WRPtool: Snakeisland v1-3  <--- that's my first work with Frontpage! It's a small volcanic island with two military bases and some villages. Known problems: There are three locations where a low spec PC will show some frame-rate dropdown: 1°- Mojlina Swamps. 2°- Mig's Farm. 3°- Flying inside Spider Valley above 200m of altitude. I've created the island using a P4 3.2 Ghz with 1Gb RAM and a Radeon 9800XT but I've tested it with a P4 1.8Ghz and a Geforce3 500 too. On low spec PC, try to reduce the distance of view and things will be ok. Any suggestions and bug reports are welcome (just try not to be too much rude ) *D'oh! My personal italian-to-english translator is KO!!! Â
