I did a search and nothing helps when I host my view distance sucks, I cannot find away to bring it up anywhere, I even went into my profile and the view distance there is the same as in my settings. thanks for anyhelp

I use to them playing tetris on xbox lol one time my face froze on the right side and I didn't know until I went to bed and couldn't shut my eye, eating fast food was hard the next day because when I drank from a straw the pop came out the right side lol.... went to the hospital the night I couldn't shut my eye and they gave me some pills, was fine in just over a week... but holy fuck it was a rough one lol

I put it where I put the description.ext... and that file works fine because respawn works

still doesn't work... setViewDistance 3500; its the only command in the init.sqf file and it doesn't work

init.sqf ??? ok so I assume I make it the same way I made the description.ext so what is the diffrence between init.sqf and description.ext? all of this seems overwhelming

Sydney morning herald the least credible source ever? anyway do some searching on the net and you will find out that eleven have been shot down so far (AH-64) some by shoulder mounted missiles others by rilfe fire.

with everything maxed arma 2 has better much better grahpics then that game. and you can not compare a Military sandbox simulator to a Western shooter anyway you wont like Arma I can tell it will be too much of a learning curve for you... it took me almost 3 months to learn everything in OFP 1 and im still learning in Arma 2 today

People forget that bullet resistant means just that. Bullet resistant glass can only take 2 - 3 rounds before they start going into the vehicle, and 2 shots in the same spot if your lucky. The factor that gives you a 90% chance of survival is the driver getting the #$@% out of there as soon as you take around. Bullets go right threw cars no problem in real life that have little to no protection. Also you can down Apaches with AK-47s http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/03/25/1048354604384.html

The game has bugs like most do when they first come out.... yes CTD piss me off... but god damn Arma 2 is a sweet game probably one of the best, and I know in time patches will come out to fix issues. Look at Crysis it ran like shit on top machines but a few patches later it was fine.

city life = role playing like if your a cop act like one do traffic stops ect... if your a civ make money by working or selling drugs and other things, just dont let the cops catch you. Chenarus life is like GTA style cops vs robbers just kill everyone.. while in city life you just try to well live a city life lol people do kill in city life but you end up going to jail or dying for it and you will lose your money

I hope posting here doesn't get me ban.... but my friend had a downloaded copy then bought it on steam when it came out.... no difference what so ever in performance

No problem Bongo boy that's what we are here for :P its a very good game... love it hope to see everyone in there oh and on a side note the game has more then 50 players online i was just playing in a game with 120 people

yeah steam is good i do buy other games from there... download is fast im done already i just dont like things like steam because if they go under you lose the game.. right? and yeah you can play offline but you have to set it up for offline mode..just dont give out your account info and your safe from getting hijacked

WTF i was just there yesterday and that said it would come out today im going to call them my friends own Arma 1 on steam and they used the beta patches.. but thats Arma 1.... Edit : just called them 17th i dont think i ever been this pissed off since the last time i got sucker punched in my balls.... man im pissed lol i just was there yesterday....... i dont think it will come out on the 17th either guys its not on the web pages or anything look for others sources... is it 100% for sure that the beta patches wont with steam?

have not tried Vista or Xp but Windows 7 is due out in a few months anyway if someone from Bi says its because of windows 7 ill format in 2 seconds this is by far the best game I have played in a long time.. sucks i cant play for that long though
