The wrath of the Emperor is coming upon all of you, heretical and xeno scums, sooner that you feared Armageddon Steel Legion troopers are nearly complete. Chimera-family AFVs are a bit less complete but functionning. Actually, what is the most needed is a scrpiter, more likely someone able to understand, modify and implement some simple scripts which should work in multiplayer. Next week, I'll be able to work on configurating IG troops, Steel Legion exactly, to match the Orks. Steel Legion will be a mecanized force with heavy armour support. Cadia Assault troops will be a general purpose force. Tanith First & Only, a light infantry force. Death Korps of Krieg will be a siege force. Other particular armies should later be created.

I'd be pleased to participate to the revival of the mod. If I can give your my opinion, maybe we should make smaller pbos, one pbo per kind of trooper(ork boyz, eldar guardians,...). Smaller cpp writing could be easier to manage , upgrade and make them available. What do you think about it ? That's a very good news. I used to try to replace, for the Tau pulse guns, the visible but nearly subsonic p3d projectile with the same effect of the tracers (light balls). But I miserably failed Thisscript should work fine for plasma. However, after reading some WH40K books, it seems that plasma weapon should have a white long flash (as imperial lasgun or Tau turret's meltagun) with an explosion (for the heavy plasma gun) las we have seen with the M1A2 SEP addon. Same thing for H-to-H combat However, thanks to you, OFP is already reinstalled Die, Grot... DIE !! I'll try to find new sounds for the shuriken catapult (it's still displease me) I'll do all I can to give you a helping hand. No, it's how can we help ?  About me, I fear I reached my incompetence level when I had to face the script problems (H-to-H combat, special FX for ammunitions, ...) and the lack of animators for special anims  Nevertheless, I can give you the method I create to calculate armor& armorStructural of troops, vehicles and weapons damages for standardization. You'll discover that with this method, Orks will be rather weaks (because of their armour). Maybe one method to cheat and simulate their incredible toughness (regeneration & so on) could be to give them a higher armorStructural and/or all armorlocs (head, body, arms, legs) equal to 1 ?  Conversion rules WH40K => OFP I hope it'll help. I also have breton's blood, from my mother's side. As history fans knows, Great Britain was owned first by true celtic britains who fled to Bretagne, France, from Angles and Saxons invasions. So that I command all anglo-saxons to return back to their first and true motherland, Germany, and return power to us, true Britons. Also, as I live in Aquitaine, land of Bordeaux, which used to be lead by Alienor d'Aquitaine, who spoused the King of England and gave her land to the Crown, I commend France to give back Aquitaine to Great Britain, a far more dynamic and succesful economy than the dying rotting french economy. No it's not a bug, this is Hitcher's will to configurate ED209 like this, I guess to prevent everybody to use it as classic vehicle. Getting in or getting out... you die  kosta87, somes only compile old Star Wars addons, others create Car Wars or Space Invaders mods Â

One point about the Panzer II Ausf C. You used the same model for the 39's and the 40's Pz II. However, the 39's Pz didn't have yet the added 20mm front armour plate on the turret and the rounded front hull armour (giving an angled front hull armour). These were added in 40 after examining combat experience in Poland. It was proven that the Pz II's 15mm armour was too vulnerable against the Polish AT rifles. Later was manufactured the Ausf F with thickened welded armoured plates. Ausf C (1939, Poland) : 15mm max. Ausf C (1940, France) : 15+20mm max. Ausf F (1941) : 30mm max. I found a good story about the French Cavalry Corps fighting Germans in 1940 here. Maybe it will change the mind of some people who still think WW2 French tanks had 1 forward speed and 4 reverse speeds  Edit : I found what I was looking for : the 25mm Hotchkiss AT gun didn't fire HE rounds. 25mm HE rounds were not manufactured by France (at its own dispair when the war outbroke) according to the 1896 international convention limitating explosing rounds to ammunition having inside more than 500g of explosive. This convention was signed in order to forbid small explosive ammunitions which would have turn the battlefield into an apocalytic bloodbath. -

Silliness is an international human characteristic  For that, you just have to increase the value of armorEngine, so that it'll need more hits or stronger ammo to make it explode. Some other points : Missing reloadSound : - Berthier M16 - Boys Mk1 AT rifle - Kar 98 - PzB 39 - MAS 36 - Lebel (grenade launcher type) Leaders need binoculars. The relodMagazineTime for the Lebel should be, as the tubular magazine was manually reloaded, round after round. That would balance this rifle with more modern rifles with less ammo. Wrong version of the Ju-87, here as a Ju-87D (or else), while Germans most modern Stuka for the Invasion of Europe was the Ju-87B-1 (shorter nose, larger radiator). The WEP script works oddly. When out of fuel and should crash to the ground, you can still fly thanks to the constant use of the WEP option  Ju-87 engine sound seems to weak (stealth aircraft ?). Most employed bomb load by the Ju-87 during the campain of France : - 1 x bomb 250 kg under the fuselage - 4 x bomb 50 kg under wings (2x2). The 500kg bomb isn't currently visible. I have plans of the diiferent german bombs. Interested ? The pilot has two bags under the legs, visible when gliding in parachute and sat in the plane. The ejection is too strong, as if Germans already had Zero-Zero Martin Baker ejection seats Missing engineSound for the SdKfz 251. Blank written in the action menu where we should find open/close Armored window. The off-road speed of the SdKfz 231/232 (6-rad) should be lower as its suspensions were inefficient offroad. The 8-rad was a real improvement in offroad driving for the german recon forces. Because of the aiRateOfFire and aiRateOfFireDistance current values, machine gunners fire... single shots  . 2 solutions : - put aiRateOfFireDistance=0 and aiRateOfFire= MG's reloadTime. Bad effect, IAs will lack ammo very fast  - a bit more complicated solution : create a Machinegunner (IA) with a special MG for them, configurated to fire burst of 3-5 round according to your wishes. AT rifles are too powerful in my opinion. 1 shot to explode a P178, Waaouh  AMD P178 and 25mm AT cannon don't currently use the same ammunitions. I'm not sure the 25mm gun use explosive rounds. According to german reports, the 25mm was really feared by tanks crew. More efficient (but short ranged) then the french silly short 37mm SA18 gun, it produced not much smoke and the flame was not visible. French tanks reloadtime should be largely increased as it was the tank commander who was commander, gunner and loader. Like : - R35, H39, FCM36 : current reloadtime +3 - S-35 (not sure the radioman helped so much), B1 Bis : current reloadtime +1.5 It could be interesting for the B1 Bis to have the 75mm howitzer, even if configurated in the turret. However, without multi-turret scripting, it's afterall modder's choice. French Chef de Bataillon, Capitaine, Lieutenant and Sous-Lieutenant carry a MAS36 rifle, however their model carry a pistol holster. Tanks from this era had a very low autonomy, more or less 80-150km on road, half off-road (except the FCM36 with its diesel engine). fuelCapacity=560 is, in my opinion, too much. Remember that 1 point of fuelCapacity = 0.725km. You gave the FCM36 armor=205 and the R-35 armor=255. While both had the same front armor value, you must know that the french cast armor manufacture wasn't really good, and that the FCM used welded laminated plates (as germans did) which were, for the same thickness, more efficent than the cast armor. Same problem for the P178 Armoured car, whick were one of the best protected (20mm max), compared to the 10-15mm of the first german cars. I think armor=100 should be increased. The Maginot line bunker is too much camouflaged. It can only be identified at 150m or less. The bunker is blind and can only counter-attack after being fired upon. The reason is that, as all your static weapons configurated from m2StaticMG vehicle, they have no irscan range : irScanRangeMin = 0; irScanRangeMax = 0; If the AT guns and mortars can fire, it's because they are under the command of an infantryman which detect, identify and command fire upon targets. The bunker is also too much armoured (armor=1700), needing 3 satchels to be destroyed. On the other hand, the Geblad AT grenade is badly configurated, causing as damage as a hand grenade. So IAs don't use them against tanks (only armoured cars because of their low armor value). The Pak36 AT gun does cause few damage, while they use the same gun and ammunitions as the Pz III. The tanks explosed too often. But when this war occured, tanks rarely exploded, because of the small sized AT ammunitions, except when hit by heavy guns like the 105mm leFh18 or the 88mm FlaK18 (missing in the mod). The german 150mm Howitzer isn't enough powerful. -

Great first release, the accompagnying DMA mission is also a great idea. I'll do an improved bug chase, later. However after wondering and opening the cpp, here are some questions : - I found that the HE rounds and the explosive part of the HE rounds are a bit overpowered. The 25mm AP rounds was fairly more efficient than the 37mm round fired by the SA18. With less powerfull HE rounds fired by battle tanks, a currently missing close support Pz IV would have its true role. Pz IV for the armoured units, StuG III for infantry fire support (whick was initially its mission). - some shell initspeeds are puzzling me. For exemple => 37mm SA18 (IOE37mmL21) : 780 instead of 388 m/s (except some cavalry tanks using a reinforced mod 34 chamber for the powerfull Brandt ammunition, 600 m/s) 37mm SA38 (IOE37mmSa38) : 780 instead of 701 m/s 47mm SA35 (IOE47mmSA35) : 1200 instead of 680 m/s (AP) and 590 m/s (HE) - configuring the gunner as commander in two-crew AFVs doesn't help in OFP, even if it was like that in the reality. The driver commands but can hardly designate targets and command fire, while the gunner commands nobody expect giving general direction to his driver (fast, right, left,...). OFP limits, not your fault - Rommel and his 7th PzDiv is actually missing his Pz38(t) in the 40' German Armor. I hope it doesn't sound too harsh because I really like the work done and I'm already looking forward hearing from the mod soon
