    Can someone please help me with this eliteness program? It crashes any time I try to run it. Kinda hard to change much when you can't change the c++ and header files back to a .bin

    I have eliteness, but it refuses to run. The .ddl is both in system32 and in the same dir as the executable.

    Guggy, I just now was able to do that after putting the game on my gaming rig. How do I repack the cpp and header files? The unRap program seems to only be able to extract the bin files or am I missing something? Thanks

    Because the game instructs you to put 1 round on a target does it make it correct? You could zero it in quite easily with a good marksman and a bipod. I am just quoting from my real life, not game, experiences.
  7. Would it be possible for modders to edit the armor values of tanks and the way some of the weapons fire to be more realistic. M1's should be able to take more than 1 hit from a t-72, and more than 2 hits from an rpg. The automatic rifles(m249 for example) should fire atleast 3 rounds with every pull of the trigger(click of the mouse). Right now you can manage to have only 1 round fire out of the M249 among other automatic rifles. With my experiences with a 249 I have never been able to only get 1 round to fire at a time with the exception of a jam. I do not know much about the way this game is structured... although, I assume most of the files are in the pbo's? What would be a recommended program for extracting these files?

    Geforce4 too old?

    Im on a 3.0gig ht and a x850 and it runs pretty well. Not quite maxed out at 1024x 768 and it rarely studders. Tomarrow i should have my gaming rig back up with its FX-55 and 7950 512mb. Should be smooth sailing at 1280x 1024 max graphics.

    IMO from what i have seen playing 1.2, it isn't modeled correctly at all. When you move forward and lean side to side you are leaning the entire aircraft, not moving the collective. It seems like in a way scripted and not dynamic as it should be. Look at some of the videos of the black shark expansion for lock-on. http://lockon.co.uk

    I would like to see an actual throttle and actually moving the collective. Copters such as the blackhawk are able to fly upside doing for short periods, such in a roll or loop.The only place i have seen this modeled accurately is in some RC copter simulations.
  11. I have the patch but errors occur when using trying to use the program... Addons\LANGUAGE.PBO -> Original file CRC error occurred, it has been skipped. Campaigns\ca.pbo -> Original file CRC error occurred, it has been skipped. DTA\BIN.PBO -> Original file CRC error occurred, it has been skipped. Why am I getting these errors? It occurs on a few other files as well, but from what i have read, these are the key files that need to be changed.

    The AT-4 is a Rocket, not a grenade and yes it has a type of rocket propulsion, or a solid rocket motor. When it is fired the high-powered burst ignites sending the rocket out of the tube. You do not need 'half' of the explosion keeping it from recoiling because the gases are able to escape through the tube and there for do not put against the tube as with a rifle. Yes the gases do technically cause friction in the tube, but it is negligible in comparison to the force at which the rocket is propelled.

    I think what people are complaining about is not that they can't see out of it, but that others far away can see them because the grass isnt rendered that far....

    They still do not sound like their real life counter parts. Could you maybe extract the sound from america's army? Thats probably the closest thing to accurate sound for these weapons.

    Are you able to perform vertical 180's and make the helo spin a 360 while flying forward in an apache or blackhawk? Real copters can do this. Thats one thing I hate about BF2, as soon as you lean over too far thats it, your toast. It feels like your flying a 150ton rock, not an agile attack copter.
