I really like it! I had suggested that a post-apocalyptic campaign might be a cool change for OFP. Is there anywhere I can download this island?

Never mind my previous post Papy. I figured out the M203 problem. Someone had installed INQ's weapons into another mod folder for me. OFP was having a hard time with the addon installed twice. It's all fixed now

First of all Pappy I wanted to say that I love this mod. It's like playing a big new modern release of OFP! I do have a question about the PMC Fury campaign. When I play the campaign it can't find the INQ M16/M203. So the guys that are supposed to be armed with them run around with nothing. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I know that it is probably just something with this particular campaign since it shows everywhere else.

I would like to see some good mercenaries. Ones that use a variety of weapons (not just AK's or M4's). Maybe they could be modelled after Executive Outcomes Co. Back when they were still in business they were pretty good.

I don't think you're real familiar with the genre. Especially Twilight:2000 and Morrow Project were military themed games.

Great job Extraction! I really like the units wearing more civilian type attire. When I was a teen, some friends and I used to play games called Aftermath and The Morrow Project. Both were pen and paper post-apocolyptic role playing games centered around human survivors trying stay fed, survive, solve problems, etc. These units remind me of how I would envision these survivors looking. Hmmm.... post-apocolyptic campaign..... anyone think it would make for some interesting gameplay?

I haven't been able to get this to work tonight , but it might give some great recordings to make into radio chatter for OFP. The website is a shortwave radio transmission of military radio traffic in Iraq. It says that it may be overloaded with listeners though.... VirtualTuner - Live Military Radio From Iraq -

I have another question aswell. I'm  pretty new unpacking and packing pbo's. I unpacked the anim.pbo and swapped out the stand safe and walk safe animations. They work but I noticed that anim.pbo went from 7+ kb to 35+ kb. Now OFP seems to be loading very slowly. Is there any way to increase the compression or am I just doing something wrong? *edit* Never mind... I figured why it was so big. Now I just need to know that safe run animation name so I can swap that out -

I have a quick question. I replaced the "stand safe" and "walk safe" animations with the new stand2 and patrol animations. What's the "run safe" animation? As in: What's the .rtm file name for "run safe"? -

I was wondering if anyone was intereseted in (or currently) making CIDG indigineous troops. I would like to see Nung and Montagnard troops to form Mike forces with U.S. Special Forces troops. I think it would make some great Vietnam missions to be able to use SEB troops and Nung mercenaries versus the V.C./N.V.A. Suggested weapon loads: B.A.R. M1 Garand M1 carbine M2 carbine M1A1 Thompson SMG M3 grease gun

I have to say that Ihave been playing your missions pretty much non-stop for several days now. They are great! The buildings you are considering to replace the unit factories would look awesome! Great job! I have to agree with Bonko that the BAS helicopters would look a little better, but all in all these are the best missions I've played.

The lawsuit is the US weapon of choice for almost everything. I agree that the game designers really shouldn't be held liable for the actions of people even if they claim to be inspired by the game. It's kind of like the US cities that keep trying to sue gun manufacturers out of existence because the cities have high rates of gun violence. Under that train of thought we should be suing car manufacturers because motor vehicle accidents claim many more lives than guns. It all comes down to individual responsibility.
