This does sound like Lag with your 56K, you got hit first, but before your computer find this out from the server, and while you shoot, you manage to get a burst of bullets out.
-
you have the bas_weap twice, its in /addons (I guess where you put it) and in res/addons (where I put it and where it is on the SES server, working fine).
-
you should have no problems Colicab, Bas addons run fine on our machine ... I'll take a look at it now for you.

delta coop 10 crashes our server after intro, getting out of chopper.

Well I know that some of you out there have had ofp running on Linux but I've always heard there was a performance drop. A friend of mine seems to have managed it and with no loss in performance. He posted this in his squads forum, and asked me to post here while his account for this forum is activated. http://drans.com/vetserver/viewthread.php?tid=709 </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Except for some texture bugs and the not working sound, it runs perfect! And the speed is the same as you would run it in "pure" Windows! I played through some of the single missions and didnt expect any crashes or problems except the sometimes messed up graphics as in screenshot #3. This is OFP 1.00 tough, because I didnt install the Updates & Resistance yet...<span id='postcolor'>

Hey Nagual, We got the BAS versions of Spec-Ops on the server, we liked the old ones, these look nice if a little easier with better guns. I'll have a look at thread to see if I've missed anything to put on our server. Would you conider updating your map-names as standard as the Community is trying to get behind the naming system http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=26694 I'll give you any feedback but you know we love your (no respawn/group respawn) coop missions.

Any plans of making opf more friendly to mp?
Skunk Monkey replied to instanto's topic in MULTIPLAYER
Sounds like you need to find some better servers to play on. SHoP is a good one in US. You have to put quite a lot of effort and time to get good MP games in OFP, but hey its a sim, I dont want it "Dumbing down" even if it means more people would play it. Quantity has nothing to do with QUALITY. -
You would be surpised to know you can get less than 100 ping to our UK server if your west-coast US .. pop in if you like Coop and Friendly people.
-
I presume you are using the latest 1.90 patch, 1.85 had some "issues" all resolved in 1.90 and it runs fine. With your set up you should have no lag. But veiwing a very distantant infantry squad through a sniper rifle they may not be 100% smooth, the more distant an object the less info you get from the server about it, thats the way the netcode works.

Well if you pbo it and it does sound like a MP mission for 8 right ? Then send it me and we will be glad to help you test it on our server, we have all the addons you need already on our server and in our addon-pack.
