Not everyone likes to reply as it's annoying when people that don't make addons get right rude and picky. I'm not making anything anymore because of the flak I got over a friggin beta. It's a generic map, as i have a diagram island of Holland on my computer that is just massive and thus a lot of time. This is to hold up until i can get my attempt at an accurate island done up. Any suggestions are welcome and i'll do my best to put them all into my beta release which 'should' be within a week. The dead cows are there to add setting and enviroment,

Well, I myself do not like the thing about having a mission with each addon. At WW2EC we have an Addon Department and a Mission Department that work seperately. We put out as many quality addons as we can and then later our mission department builds the missions which then go up on the site.

Well now, you uncovered the secret J/K. So anyways, I've passed along a new destroyed house to one of the webbies. Model by Vibes, current textures by Black Magic. It's binarized so all you fellow wrpeditors can place directly in your work. Please remember that it's a beta, there will eventually be an improvement/fix to the current textures. Just use it as is, the new final version will just overwrite when it's completed.

Head over to WW2EC and download our new releases, which includes a Jimmy Truck with a 30 cal, a new Hetzer tank, our log ramp which can be gotten from the forums. The mission Hold the Lines by Assassin to be released tomorow, a bridgepack will also be released on weekend. Check it all out.

The Hetzer includes some very nice custom interior features as well as some nicely detailed textures on the whole thing. Will be another worthwhile download to add to those vehicles that have already flowed from our factories. SturmTiger brings the Hetzer to life. The P51 will include 3 versions: P51D with fuel tanks, P51D with 6 Hvar's, P51D with 2 500kg bombs. It has custom gear, exchangable side textures, clan logo's, moveable canopy, fuel injection, smokes when damaged, damage textures. Also the AI uses the bomb, and it will be scripted so that AI puts the landing gear up. FW200 brings an amazing P51D to life. Personally, I can't wait for either of these great addons, but alas I must Stay tuned for them.

I will do what I did over at ofpec.com and apolagize. I read 14 posts about pure whines over our weapons, and then had countless people add me to their MSN just to bitch at me over them. We have new weapons in work and stuff, and that just didn't matter to them. I'm sorry, I went through that then posted hastily in a disgruntled attitude.

I've read through this thread and I must say that it just warms my heart, really it does. I would really appreciate it if people stopped comparing us to everyone. We're not a MOD, we're an Addon Team. We put out what we finish, or would it be preferred that we just hold it and then not release it? We have new soldier models for plenty of new units in the works. I'm sorry that the 101st did not have new models, maybe next time we will just hold them for a lot longer until we can do some. The weapons are temporary as we have great new weapons in the works, and will be out soon enough. I got praise for I44, yes they have quality addons but we do not compete. Sussmori even came onto our site and wrote some compliments because he knows as well that competition is just a complication that neither of our teams need. Do you have any idea how many damn complaints we got about the weapons? It was real disheartening and they aren't even the freaking finals. We even posted something about that due to the amount of complaints about them People, we do our best to bring you FREE addons to play with. Free. Each takes time and work, many of our boys work together just to complete one addon. We have new models and stuff in the works, but we thought the 101st even without would be a welcome addition to replace the old stuff. Quite frankly, I'm beginning to wish we had just held them. Sure I may be coming off rough, but the weapon complains really hit a soft spot with me and I'm quite disheartened and even began wondering why the heck we do this.

Would I pay for Operation Vietnam or Invasion 1944? Not a chance. I would just play with the stuff from my team, as we will never even think of charging a penny. It just isn't right, and I think anyone that charges is being selfish. I make islands and stuff because I love to do it, and it makes me feel great when others use them. I don't want money, just approval would do.
