That is exactly why it's the parents job, NOT the governments job to say what their kids can or can't play.

All I have to say is there's a lot of ways to express yourself. Violence is one of them. So if someone wants to play a game that has violence then he or she should be able to do so, and not anyone, especially the "big brother" should be able to tell them what or what not to play. What's next, they are going to tell you what to drink (In CA, this BITCH, wants to put a tax on soda, can you imagine that, her reasons are teenagers being too fat. WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT FAT? *sarcasm* hould get our money together and pay for liposucktion for everyone who wants it? *sarcasm*). So protest this form of control anyway and everyway you can, because it can and will spread from games to something else and then before you know it you will have a chip in your head and all you are going to be is a tax cow for the government.

I would suspect your soundblaser is causing the problem. I have the same SB card and it causes slow downs in a lot of my games. Try to do this --> go into "Program files" , "DX" and run "DXdiag", click on the sound tab and turn down the sound acceleration to standard. See if that helps. Also, if you can afford it then replace that SB card and get a SantaCruz card. Well worth it.

After playing OFP for the first time, the first thing I did is called all my friends and told them how unbelievably awesome this game is. The next day I went online and tried looking for some cheats (god mode) was specifically what I was looking for. Well, found some, but they didn't work (Iwillbetheone). Came to this forums and read about it being a joke. Anyhow, at first I was kinda dissapointed (I kept dying A LOT), then after I stoped charging everything head on, magically things started going better. Now I am really glad for not finding any cheats. Seriously, they are like drugs, after having my withdrawl I really enjoy the realism in this game and especially the fact that it's not like all the FPSs out there. So not having any cheats actually makes this game better. Anyway. Great game, waiting for the sequell. Good stuff!!!
